He’s obviously a man who knows his football.

We expect so much now that Bielsa has us playing his style. We upset easily when it doesn’t click into place every match.

Seems like a very long tome ago since the days of being thumped for 7 by Watford and Stoke.

If you look at how much the players cost and how good they were before Bielsa, that's the best way to judge him.

I was shocked when he went to the Championship to manage a team, but it shows he knows his stuff and knew that Leeds are the very definition of a sleeping giant. He thought he could revive them when he took over, and he's not far off taking them back to the tof flight.

I don't know the ins and outs, I'm not a Leeds supporter. But from the outside, it looks like a top manager took over at the start of last season and is performing great things with neither a big budget or necessarily the best players. It looks like he's going to get yous up this year too.

If and when you do come up, I'm looking forward to that fixture being back on the calendar. But i think Bielsa, for achieving that, based on finances and the squad he inherited, really would deserve huge gratitude. Great manager

Great article, I think we have indeed had our expectation levels raised in terms of style of play.

Everyone can see we have 2 glaring issues, inability to convert chances and a keeper who is not rock solid.

The style is not going to change its investment in quality players that is final piece of jigsaw to enable Bielsa style to play.

Agree entirely with all that, Steve and Jonty. The quality of the football speaks for itself - that first half against Arsenal was just brilliant! Imagine what Bielsa could do with some seriously good players - or even just a seriously good striker! I have rated and supported Pat Bamford but it's not working out as it should, is it?

Stoke did thump us for 7 - back in the mid-80s. We were singing "next goal wins".

One issue from yesterday was how bad some of our short passes were. Very inaccurate and it is usually one of our better attributes. Weird too, as you don't usually perceive that can be blamed on the wind.

One thing that is soooo annoying me is how good these defences and goalkeepers are against us - and then I watch these teams' highlights in other weeks and there are holes everywhere with other teams able to score at will against them.

And Costa's shot in the first half instead of aiming it right at Bamford. Score that early goal and the whole game is different, with them having to come out.

But a great win, good to see us capitalise well on two weekends of great results for us, and clearly the other teams are starting their bad patches of form while we have been through ours (fingers crossed)

Of our 12 remaining games I count 8 we should definitely win, 2 we could win but chances are a draw, and 2 we will probably lose.

88 points should easily see us through
