😂 As blunt as his comment may have been, the thing is, the prison system is about rehabilitation. And I don't see how someone who has that natural instinct can ever really be rehabilitated. I suppose the one thing that a prison sentence can do is maybe make them realise that they can't act on their sick desires.

He might not agree with homosexuality, but I doubt he hates homosexuals. I think I heard him say as much in an interview. The comment he made about it (which I believe was quite a while ago) wasn't great but maybe he regrets that now or the way he phrased it.
Just because he isn't Mother Theresa and has made unsavoury comments in the past doesn't mean he can't be a nice guy?

Merry - there is no amount of education that will change them. They are sick individuals and putting them predators back into society is cruel as it puts young innocent children at risk for no good reason at all.

I'd be inclined to agree. That's why I think it's a valid discussion topic. There are some things that can't be rehabilitated
