Fack's sake OP why do you have to exaggerate your opening post so much? When I read "BIG trouble" I thought Liverpool had been banned from this year's PL

'alleged hacking'

Alleged use of his already existing login details.

Unauthorized access to confidential data is the legal name for hacking and it can carry a 2 year prison sentance in this country.

Liverpool have already admitted to the offence, let the courts decide.

"A forensic investigation by an independent team of experts pointed the finger at some former City scouts who had left the club to join Liverpool.

A complaint to Anfield led to Liverpool agreeing to pay a £1million compensation package and both clubs signing a confidentiality agreement.

When details of the episode resurfaced last September, the Football Association decided not to take matters further due to the “age of the alleged concerns” and the fact that the clubs had agreed a financial settlement."

So City are in breach of the confidentiality agreement by bringing this up again in a futile attempt to deflect away from their FFP breaches.

Why are City in breach of confidentiality?

It's now in the public domain and there's no way of saying City tipped the media off.

As it was a criminal offence that was committed, the CPO might want to get involved.

Did you even bother to read the article?

"Sunday Mirror Sport has been told that City will “leave nothing off the table” when they attempt to beat the two-year suspension and £25million fine levied against them by UEFA over FFP violations.

City will take a powerful legal team to the Court of Arbitration for Sport – and they will be armed with evidence that threatens to blow the lid off the murky work of football politics.

A central tenet of City’s argument will be that UEFA’s decision to punish them is based on an illegally-obtained raft of emails written by senior club officials that were taken out of context to deliver a guilty verdict."

So City let the Mirror on Sunday know, therefore they're in breach.

No it isn't. The method in how you gain access determines if it is hacking or not. Using a password from a former colleague is called 'Password sharing', not hacking.

I would attempt to explain 'hacking' to you but I don't think you would have the ability to process it.

No one knows what it was. The details have never been published.

We aren't American though.

No. It would be a criminal offence if there had been theft of intellectual property or the information was being used to commit a fraud or for blackmail. If anything this would be a civil case and the clubs have already agreed a settlement so end of.

Who do you think would be sent down anyway? Were you hoping it would be Klopp or Sadio Mané?

This is just another example of Man City deflecting. As if this anything to do with FFP
