surely

weathering the first half storm
bringing on your best player
scoring a goal

is a foothold?

foothold - a secure position from which further progress may be made.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Getting dominated isn't a secure position though.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Was secure enough

Just like Katic being in line with Jullien isn't an offside goal?

Conspiracy nut.

Somewhere nice

Florida mate. Temperature dropping in time for my arrival

Always like to get away from winter for a bit. Got great flights and was expecting 25-28°C, like up until now and forecast for my last day
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Will still be warmer than here. Enjoy

i'd take rangers gifting it to us if we had been rubbish, but we have been brilliant.

I think it works both ways tbh, I couldn't predict rangers losing that many points, but I also didn't see celtic going on another run like this.

credit where it's due to celtic, and criticism where it's due to rangers.

I said we gave away a foothold that we had managed to get

what is so hard to understand about that?

we were dominated but we managed to get a foothold in the game n it lasted 2 mins before Frimpong got sent off

after the penalty rangers created 1 chance mind you in 30 odd minutes

For being honking of shiite we won very comfortably at Ibrox.

We also have the best players in each area of the park. Forster is the best GK, hasn't made one mistake this season and has made countless crucial saves and penalty saves. Jullien is the best defender(although this one could be argued I suppose but I wouldn't have any of the rangers players over him)..........McGregor is the best midfielder and Edouard is the best striker.

I agree with most of that, though it's difficult for a Rangers fan to say you have been brilliant performance wise when you've been far from it when we've played.

Still deservedly top now. The real yard stick for you now is to see how far you go in Europe.

For us, it's Scottish Cup or Gerrard GTF.

we started the season flying and won comfortably at ibrox.

pre Christmas I don't think we were particularly great, too many injuries.

back to full strength now, pretty much.

ibrox and CP will be interesting.

lets get the Toni Macaroni out the way first

It’s incredibly ungracious to not say that Celtic deserve to be where they are. It’s fine to point out Rangers poor form, but that has had no impact on our points total.

We’ve been gifted nothing. Leagues are won over the course of a season by the better team.

Sensible post my man.

Sunday will be some session man, early departure and a 3pm kick off

Buzzing for Thursday, just hope we continue our good run and go through more than anything.

Listen you'd need to be bitter as flook to say Celtic have had an easy run.

25 wins from 28 is outstanding, we had won 26 of 28 i think in the invincible season at this stage?

We've won a cup, in the quarters of the scottish and a real chance to get to the last 16 of EL.

Celtic fans have rightly criticised Lennon and the team for the performance on the 29th, we were awful but the cup final we had 5 first team players out if you include Elyounoussi who clearly should not have played.

The next OF game we'll be a different animal and there's every chance we could win it to go 15 points clear in the league, suck it up.

gutted im no going on Thursday the place will be bouncing

it's good that we're hung up on winning 9 that the EL is a bit of a bonus at the moment

the likelihood is IF we get through on Thursday there is winnable ties to be had in the next round

Lex

It'll be a good game but imo if we play well and aren't wasteful in front of goal we'll win the game comfortably.

Forster actually only had 3 saves to try make over there, one was the penalty and another was their goal.

Think we'll go with this:

Forster

Jozo
Julien
Ajer

Forrest
Brown (if fit)
McGregor
Ntcham
Taylor

Edouard
Griffiths

yeah I'll be honest losing to Copenhagen would the worse than losing to Cluj for me

they aren't in the same league as Cluj

we should be winning this tie comfortably
