the mirror negatively spinning a story - shock horror

Do people still read newspapers?

Wow

The Mirror have absolutely no clue what our budget or transfer in and outs are.

From a personal point of view I think
Smalling
Sanchez
Jones
Lingard
Pogba
Rojo
They are the 6 who i think will or I would like to see go. We will get about 90-100m for Pogba in my view and probs around 40-50m if we were to sell.

Ins is anyones guess but Grealish and Sancho are going to make it a long summer as I think they will drag on. Qe need a striker aswell.

No champs league means less money - right

We have players we want rid of - right

We are planning to get our signings correct - right

I dont see an issue

++

I don't think many people do buy newspapers from the newsagent on the whole, anymore. Last one I bought was in 1997.

However what people tend do is browse and send internet links to each other from online versions of newspapers when they see a piece they want to share.

I thought United announced that Sanchez was returning next season to give it another go?

Probably about right, though I’m struggling to think who will pay 100m for Pogba..

Well seeing both Juve and Madrid the other nights they are crying out for a creative midfielder

Juve more likely, but I can’t see them stumping up 100m.

Well Pogba is 'tired on living in Manchester', according to his slimy agent.

Wonder if he just means the red side of Manchester.

Why not? He is in his prime, they paid 60m+ for a 19 yr old and they would make most if not all of it back with commercial and shirts etc etc

Thought they had to sell to raise the cash to buy him?

If there’s any truth in this (and it wouldn’t surprise me, although it’d be a business decision rather than one driven by FFP), we cannot afford to offload Pogba, Sanchez, and a handful of others and then splash the entire budget on Sancho.

We need *quality* players in minimum four positions (CF, RW, CM, and CB), and if we have to spend an average of EUR50m on each, that’s Sancho out of the picture.

It’s no good buying a world class right winger and going in to next season without reinforcements elsewhere.

Juve will go for Houssem Aouar from Lyon.... (Sadly as I'd love him as Pogbas replacement)

Lyons president has pretty much said thats who he wants to sell to

That article is basically a lazy journalist spinning a story from some information.

G Force Nev made it clear that if players like Mbappe were available, the club would buy them.

City appeared to be in prime position to sign him a few years ago before he rejoined United. That interest totally cooled though when Pep came in. I know Pep doesn’t sign the players, but he’ll have some sway, and Pogba doesn’t work hard enough
