We do need depth. It wouldn’t surprise me if we get champions league football that we sign sancho and keep ighalo. Pogba does need replacing and matic too.

Rashford...Martial....Sancho
...............Bruno
...........mctominay/Fred
................Partey

Would be Juicy

Zakaria over Partey for me.... No afcon to worry about either

Either would be good business tho

If over the rest of the season Ighalo does perform in a way that would justify considering a permanent move, any idea what he would cost? Given he has taken a pay cut to join United, is there any chance he'd cost significant money?

[Decided to check before posting - apparently he only went for £20m when he left Watford for China, so probably not]

Depending on the public health situation in China, a season long loan could still be an option

And allow us to spend on midfield and a winger

Obviously still dependant on Ighalo doing the business

There's specific things I like about Odeon. He bullies the box, gets in good positions, and makes the keeper at least make a save. No blazing over from 6 yards or dragging wide. He's got the feel for getting a ball on target, and any time you do that, you give your team a chance to score. the fact that he supports the club is secondary, but so far his play has been solid. Ought to teach Tony a few tricks while he's here, but I get the feeling it's just this loan spell. Surely he's got to get back on those big Chinese wages, right?

Ighalo represents everything that is now wrong with United.

Fergie must be cringing at how backwards the club has gone, especially off the pitch.

The player that Spurs tried to sign on loan? And Barca the season before?

Ighalo is exactly the kind of squad player SAF used to love. Someone that would come in when needed run their backside off for the club. I have to say, I think that he has done pretty well so far. Offered something last night with his hold-up play that we have been lacking and has looked fairly sharp, considering he hasn't played for 2 months.

Of course you do, you're very easily pleased.
