Is this deliberate irony?!

Did you not spend a lot of time on here before just moaning about Lennon??

Player’s nervousness is influenced way more by their team mates than anything from the crowd.

Irony? No not at all ,yes ive complained about Lenny in his first spell as manager because he acted like an eejit at times ,this time around i haven't complained about him as hes now a more mature managerial figure ,the last time around he hadn't separated Lenny the player from Lenny the manager.
Ive never at any time moaned, berated and shouted abuse at our own players at games.Just really disappointed by the so called support last night

Yup. Vast majority of players shut out everything except the game and need to be told what happened after.

So all the talk about playing at home with a great support behind them is pash then.
Basically the crowd plays no influential part in the game???

dont know? you tell me?
The assertion that the crowd doesnt influence the team is naive to say the least.Ive personally witnessed the hoops support drag the team through games we were struggling in for many many years

Ok let me get this straight you are saying that the crowd has no influence on the players or the game at all??
whatever right back at you mate .
BTW did you think the home support were great last night??

We certainly take the crowd played it’s part mantra when it’s a positive

Seeing it a lot at Ibrox where the negativity from the crowd appears to create or increase nervousness on the pitch

Many players talk about the 12 th man being the support

It was understandably a very nervy crowd last night. I think a combination of a sense that we should be beating them, memories of the torrid second half we had in the first leg and the fact rangers were already through contributed to that. TBH from where I was sitting (in line with pen area in south stand) I could only really hear the Copenhagen fans who made an almighty din.

I have no idea whether the nervousness of the fans was a material contributing factor to our poor performance or not. I do think there were more material factors at play that caused us to play so poorly than the crowd.

I think what it shows is that yous have mastered playing and beating the mostly hammer throwers of Scotland, but when you come up against an actual football team like Rangers or Copenhagen then all the frailties are exposed

so your lot sh@t it because Rangers made it through?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The crowd, I suspect so. The team, doubt it.

The crowd absolutely have an influence. But to me it's reaching for excuses when players let down such As Simunovic. It's more on the staff not making the right tactical changes

No, that's not what I said. I said that what happened on the pitch had a bigger influence.

Wasn't at the game and it doesn't come over much on the TV but my experience of Euro nights sounds similar to yours last night. Oohs, aaahs, celebration and awww FFSs are normal reactions from regular fans. Singing is from a sizeable and vocal minority.

Abuse is from a smaller minority still often low EQ, many jaked out their heids on all sorts of scheidt. Many more just 90 minute abusers fuelled by nerves. The result the previous night will not have helped some of those individuals.

That was the problem you were actually never in control last night and understandably this filtered through to the fans as the match wore on, if you had taken a one or two goal lead then maybe but when they scored it was no surprise as there was always the chance complacency /nerves would creep in the longer the game went on at 0-0 and all of a sudden you have to score two, if they score again three and so on, you went about the game unproffesionally from the outset with the mindset of being in control without really having been so.

what a lot of sh!te right enough we cant play teams like Lazio Rennes and Cluj .And that will be the Rangers who are currently 12 points behind us in the league whom we have already beaten 2 out of 3 times including a cup final this season

No, we beat Lazio...hardly hammer throwers. And you do realise that we are 10 points clear of one of your do called " football teams" . Typical baseless reasoning from Rangers fans who have got absolutely hee haw else to cheer about. Europe is and was, always going to be a bonus this season. You'll all be put back (again) in your boxes when quad treble is done

I know what your saying silver and have lived through many such nights over the last 45 years or so, but last night seemed particularly bad.
My sons thought so too and they've been going for the last 25 years or so.
Maybe just the area of the ground i was in made it seem worse ?
