If you start Robert's after a brief cameo (all be it a scoring one) so soon after his injury worries then you are an idiot who dosent care about the players well being

We've got 10 games left to stamp our class on the rest of this division. No time to be worrying about injuries or bruising delicate player egos. Time to be ruthless. Sit Bamford. Start Tyler.

It's always time to worry about injuries.

And if you are sitting here saying, screw him, I dont care about his career or him as a person then you are just a massive čunt

A fair question actually given the guy buried the 2 chances offered to him in a short space of time, but given his injury record and Bamford's overall contribution would start Bamford and see how it is going after 55-60 minutes.

massive čunt

No.There are 10 games between us and Prem. If Tyler's deemed fit, and he wants to start. Start him. He's proven he's a far better finisher than Bamford. We will need goals in the next 10 games. Bamford can run around for the last 20 minutes.

So the choice is 1 or 5.
Not too mentally challenging is it?
Well, maybe it is for some (3?)

Roberts will be itching to get at Hudds, but it wouldn't do him any harm being an impact sub. Absolutely no need to use the C word to throw at those to pick Roberts.

I agree with Batty in the sense that we need to be ruthless.

I wonder who Pablo, Klich, Costa and Harrison want to start? They are the ones carving chance after chance and seeing them missed.

This Tyler being a clinical finisher thing is funny. Was only yesterday I saw people criticising his end product.

I'm not.

I'm throwing it around at people who dont care about the fact he is still trying to get back to fitness after so many injury lay offs.

If you dont care about the damage you could do to him playing him when he isint ready then what else should I refer to you as?

Also last time I checked we were on a four match unbeaten run so this idea that Roberts must start or we will all be doomed dosent hold any water for me

Leave a team that is winning.

Bamford is adding a structural benefit to the team.

Why rock the boat just because Roberts finally turned up?

Same again next game. Bring Roberts on with 20 plus minutes left.

To be honest I know I said on another thread that Tyler has to start but the more I think about it the more I think stick with Bamford and let him work his socks off and maybe tire the defences. Then bring Roberts on if we need a goal.

Roberts came on at 2-0 today so there was little pressure on him. Maybe that’s the reason Bamford isn’t scoring? Too much pressure on him?

Who starts

Its not just Bamford

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/teams/leeds-united/top-scorers

Our forward three are all as bad as each other when it comes to their conversation rate yet Harrison and Costa get let off for some reason.

And while you naturally expect the middle man to be getting more chances its still no excuse for both Costa and Harrison to have such a low shot on target rate.

I dont know to be honest, clearly its working cause we are five points clear of third and one behind 1st, but our forward line all need to be hitting the target more

Bamford, for me

I don’t think Bielsa will change a winning line up.
Roberts has certainly pushed Fat Eddie out of the picture.

Roberts has been fit for a month. He will be raring to go. It was such a relief to see our striker actually playing like a striker. I am not convinced that a gradual introduction back into the Championship would make any difference to his ability to steer clear of injury till the end of the season. However, we were playing a desperately poor Hull side who looked dead on their feet for the last half hour. I would like to hear from posters who know more about recovery from injury, and best practice for professional sportsmen, but on yesterday's performance, it's a no-brainer. Roberts to start against Huddersfield. One star from me.

even though i think bamford has had 2 below average games in a row for him i would still want roberts coming on with 30 minutes or so left. it worked today.

OK, so let's actually look at the way our tram plays.high energy, and intelligence up top. Bamford gives us that, he is the lymchpin up top that all our attacking play revolves around.

Removing him is like removing a hanger from a hanging shirt.

Roberts is a classy player, but at this point and in this competition, he isn't going to be what this team needs.

After and hour or so, he comes on and just watch him be great. Also, today imo, will have given Bamford a huge rocket up the bum, so I'd start Pat next week no question.
