What they smoking over there at Anfield?

Considering that before the ban, from 1977-1984 English clubs won seven of eight European cups, I think it’s pretty safe to say that Everton, Arsenal, whom the ban impacted, would’ve do so...

Those so called minor teams were minor teams. Looking at the list of clubs you faced that were listed above, most of those countries were doing nothing internationally, and you’re also implying that the best 8 players from each country played for a single side, which again wasn’t the case. If that argument held weight then English teams wouldn’t have won any judging by our international performances.

That still really hurts you doesn't it.

Time to let it go son....

Forever wound up from John Henry comment

Great seeing the history boys United and Arsenal fans joining forces. Good luck in the Europa league qualification
----------------------------------------------------------------------
still wound up by JW from 6 years ago. More so because they thought Suarez would actually sign for them

Why are arsenal fans such kids?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Wound up? says the Liverpool fans commenting on a post on the Arsenal board. Keep pretending you're not still reeling from that Watford spanking yesterday....

Sorry great teams just don't get embarrassed like that, just accept it

Remind us of the title of the article again?

I'd rather win the league with more points than go undefeated. City have the best title winning season with record points. Unbeaten is an achievement but if you offered me record points or 12 draws and unbeaten I'd take the former all day long.

Title of the article asking “what are they smoking..” just shows the hurt from not having a chance of signing Suarez.

Not that he’d have joined Arsenal anyway, did them a favour to not see Suarez turning them down.

These winning or undefeated records make good fodder for bragging rights and really nothing more.

However, Liverpool should have Klopp medically checked out after his post game interview. This usually hyperactive bloke appeared to be in a trance and mumbled when responding to questions about the loss.

Keep pretending you all weren't praying and hoping to be invincible. The whole Liverpool team did but pretended didn't care, bunch of pathetic cowards!

Arsene made it clear that he wanted to go unbeaten and did just that like a boss. More balls than the whole Liverpool squad put together

FFS, the desperation of the Aгse fans.
Quite a few of us Liverpool supporters have stated time & again that going unbeaten was about 4th/5th on the list of priorities.

1> PL
2> CL
3> Double PL/CL - PL/FA CUP - CL/FA CUP
4> Treble PL/CL/FA CUP
5> Unbeaten

The fact that you Arses are celebrating Liverpool's loss as some sort of trophy win for your pathetic club proves you lot are really hurting and your Only solace comes in the form of a bad result for Liverpool.

Gooners

They campaigned for years to get rid of Wenger, now look at them

They are reduced to telling Liverpool (who are 22pts clear) that they won’t go unbeaten in the league. As if this is somehow a departure from the entire history of the club or the rest of the league.

What is a departure is the number of wins, instead of parking the bus to close out a draw. We have had 18 wins on the spin and 36 out of 37. That is simply phenomenal and not even the great arsenal side could do that.

I don’t think Arsenal will won the league again, it’s already been 16 years since they did.

They don’t even have an enthusiastic fan base who actually say “next year is our year”, it’s more “we need 4-5 more players” - and that’s every year.

Aww Logical is hurting knowing this.. hold onto past glory era that spanned about 3 years. That will work out well for you.

That team choked whenever it was in the CL. Your recent team cant even get into the top 8. Arsenal are a laughing stock these days. So you cling to us losing to Watford, we'll cling to winning numerous trophies.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Funny you should mention choking, when your whole fanbase and team had ambitions (albeit deluded) to remain unbeaten and ended up doing just that choking...

I think you're missing the whole point buddy... we know we are crap right now. Its you and your deluded fanbase who wanted to set records and be remembered as the greatest ever prem team only to choke and get battered by Watford...

Great teams don't get manhandled and destroyed 3 nil by teams like Watford my friend... that is the point and fact here that you need to accept

I know it burns you weren't good enough to go unbeated but the consolation is you can finally say you won the prem once just like Blackburn and Leicester

“Right now”

yeah right buddy.

List the teams Arsenal failed to beat in your unbeaten run..

I’d rather have one win than two draws - more points.
How many points did that invincible team have in a season? About 80 odd..? Hardly great.
