there is no crisis in leeds. we have a slightly above average team with the best manager in the league by far. we are where we are because we set up and play like we do.
a bit of a limited squad so we cant really play players out of their preferred positions. if roberts can start and contribute some goals, great but id like to see if he can do the over all job each player has to do for this team to be at our best.
he's a better prospect than eddie in that role for sure.
the way we play the keeper won't be called on to make save after save but he does have to cut out crosses and distribute the ball and meslier looked more at ease than kiko.
an early goal in a game has been what we have all been calling for all season. makes the opponents come out and play. sometimes i think we try to be too perfect and walk the ball into the net instead of just blasting it off a defender and hoping.were going up.keep calm ladies.
Kebab - an Alzheimer's virus? Jeez, now that IS scary!
Can Roberts continuously hassle a defence like Bamford does? I don't think so - he has a proven record of injury issues.
It's probable that Bamford will move on if we are promoted. Roberts's two goals inside four minutes yesterday won't have helped his mental state, more's the pity.
I'm still hoping Augustin will come good - a hamstring injury without much game time suggests he's gearing up to Bielsa fitness levels too fast?
Yeah if Roberts could get a run of games, I think he’d be starting and wouldn’t have needed Augustin
Personally I think if anything kevin could well be done before he even gets going.
After yesterday you are not going to pick him ahead of Roberts and we only play one upfront.
Bielsa will use bamford for the first 60-80 minutes and finish up by bringing Roberts on.
Why bother with kevin unless Roberts gets injured again or bamford also picks up one?

Seriously can’t believe another thread has just changed into another Roberts for Bamford one
It’s like literally only a few days ago that the majority on here were saying we can’t rely on glass legs Roberts
It’s like literally only a month ago majority on here were saying we needed a new striker because Roberts is a no10 not a no9.
Starting to feel like there is an Alzheimer’s virus going around here.
Can we move on yet?

I think Pablo needs a bigger mention in this thread!
He was back to his tricky best against Hull - showed his vision and instinct to the full.
Shame his shot hit the crossbar & post. Would have been a perfect goal.
It’s a fair point 45, I think we’re used to his high standards whilst with the others mentioned they stood out more than normal.
