Read that Ely has a hamstring, so might be a few weeks for him.

Great weekend. Good result for us on Sunday on a dreadful pitch, and a funny result for the bears on Smirkday at tynecastle.

I suspect workloads to be heavy today.

Celtic are preparing to offer star striker Odsonne Edouard, who is likely to attract interest from Leicester City this summer and whose contract ends in summer 2022, a bumper new contract, according to a report by French journalist Ignazio Genuardi in Get French Football. Who officially got the goal?

I thought it was Christie's myself

Yeah I think it was Christie who got it.

20th goal of the season.

Cracking El Classico last night. Standard of play was ridiculous. Vinicius jr was outstanding and looks 26, not 19!

Does the Europa not count as a trophy?

Tough game, conditions were poor but just like up at Aberdeen we got the job done.

On Rangers, no manager in their history has survived 2 trophy-less seasons will SG be the first?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He’s not leaving soon. He won’t quit just now, and seems to have a lot of support amongst the fans. A couple more poor results and that might change though.

Difficult time for him and the board. His interview after the match was naive, and he’s left himself in a difficult position with the players.

Europe is helping massively just now, its going to feel like the huge empty sadness post whank, when that ride is over unless it over by actually winning it.

It was a typical cup game yesterday and I enjoyed it
The park being a cow field helped

Any word on when Ntcham returns ?

And let's talk about Griffith's ? How many times has he started , been shiete and got subbed ?

Begs the question ...why ?

El Classico was quite boring TBH. I am glad Madrid won and deserved the win but it was far from a classic match.

Apparently the young lad who scored the killer goal grew up next to the Camp Nou and was rejected by Barca

Vinicius Junior is a frightening prospect, I can see why he is keeping a player of Bale's ability out of the team.

Not a WUM but I think the reason is threefold?

1. A belief he can attract better players than might otherwise come?

2. A desire to be associated with 'a big name' and vicariously a reaffirmation of being a big club. Which is ridiculous because Rangers are a big club.

3. A desire not to be seen to have failed with yet another manager after the vast majority went 'all in' on the let's go express.

The reality is most wouldn't care if it was Billy Davies so long as they were winning stuff. That is the crux.

Agree not so much incident but it was just the quality. Hardly any player making wrong decisions at breakneck pace and keeping that up for 90.

There’s probably more reasons than that Silver. He’s managed a few wins against Celtic and some good performances, which wasn’t the case for a few years before he arrived.

On point 1 you made, I’m sure I read here that doesn’t actually matter, because they are Rangers.

You don’t think Gerrard is... magnum?!?

Neither seems to like Morelos anymore either.

I think I’m onto something here!

In 2020 Morelos has really let Rangers down, he has been backed by his manager to the hilt, and he has just shoved it right back in his face.

Reformed character but.

This stuff that Morelos has let his side down in 2020 is nonsense. He hasn't done anything differently this season that the previous 2.

I called it out in September/October when everyone was saying he'd be going for £50M that I will be impressed with him if he continues to do it right into the second half of the season.

3 seasons on the bounce his goals to games ration has crumbled after the New Year. His disciplinary catches up on him and he gets pelters only to start the cycle again in August.

People saying he learned to control his behaviour - no he didn't. The team were flying and playing well with no pressure so he had no reason to feel the pressure himself. When the pressure started to mount and the thought of a realistic title challenge became the discussion suddenly there was pressure on them and his bookings started to pick up.

There is a terrific goalscorer in that boy but he needs to find a way to calm the pressure when the going gets tough and keep the form consistent for a season

It helps but, like the Billy Davies point, I doubt they would care if they lost every league meeting if they were winning stuff?

There's also the financial impact of paying him off but most fans don't give a stuff about the money.

This is Morelos 3rd season here and he’s missed 19 games for Rangers due to suspensions or being disciplined by his own club.

He make Ramos look like an angel.

FFS Morelos being compared to Ramos now, the bears will have him linked with signing for Real next
