As expected no blame to the manager Sandy. The same things you were having a go at Poch for, you're excusing Jose for. Apparently Poch can't coach this Spurs side to beat Colchester in the cup at home, but when we can't beat the bottom team in the league at home it's down to the players.

Jose was supposed to come in to improve the situation and while he hasn't had much luck on an attacking front, where is the improvement in the defence? We've had less clean sheets under him than under Poch, and he had fewer games this season.

His best days as a manager are long gone.

A refusal to change with the game alongside archaic tactics have led to this.

Even his famed siege mentality of us against them is gone.

I doubt he will be at Spurs this time next season and his next job will be in my opinion managing Portugal.

that was away from home as well

Back in November we were a team full of top players apparently being badly managed by Poch, as per your analysis Sandy

So I’m happy to go with you on this one. Jose should get more out of the squad he has and we don’t need any signings

That much was obvious before he came to Spurs but I didn't quite realise how much he had declined. If he does well with us next season then fair enough. That looks a million miles away at the moment, especially if we don't hold on to Kane.

It kind of makes sense that we've ended up with him. I mean it's a past it chairman hiring a past it manager. Of course that was going to happen.

I would keep the following if possible and build a team around them

Kane
Son
Lo celso
Stevie B
Ndombele

The following can stay as squad men

Tanganga
Lucas

To be honest everybody else we should be actively listening to offers for.

Ndombele is undoubtedly a quality player but what a flop he's turned out to be so far on account of his fitness. Embarrassing stuff really.

Ndombele is a real problem. The man came in early and had a full pre season but seemingly can’t play more than 15 mins. It’s a joke tbh

No way can he be included in Spurs plans for next season. If he surprises us all and plays one ninety minute game between now and the end of season, then I may be sold on the idea he is coming on. But as it stands he is next to useless and needs outing.

He'll be gone by the end of summer.

All this fitness malarky is bollix. He's 23 and trains every day.

Simply not up for the fight and doesn't want to be here.

Ndombele will be a top class player either with Spurs or not. I imagine he will be playing for an elite team by the time he's 26/27. His talent is so obvious, needs to be starting regularly. Jose barely played lo Celso until January. Now he's playing regularly his talent is there for all to see.

This drama is setting up nicely for Hotspur season II coming soon to Amazon Prime.

Highlights for season I - soon to be aired - sacking Poch, appointing Jose, Jose's skinhead haircut, selling Eriksen, Dier having a fight, Spurs getting knocked out of CL, FA and league cups and finishing 9th in league, Son getting corona virus and Kane being sold to Man U.

We are no longer a football club. We are a drama documentary!

Greetings from LA guys,

Unfortunately I missed the game as I was 40,000 feet above the Atlantic.

How did we play before the penalty phase of the game?

NDombele is an embarrassment of a player. Not the type of player we need. We need players who will roll up their sleeves and fight for the team. He has been at the club now for over half a year and we have seen nothing from him except he is extremely unfit and actually not that great. Granted, he will probably improve but he is always on the bench due to his fitness and niggles so I day get rid and invest in proven quality.

Keh?

One week it's Amber, now it's Don.

Phenom

You know I'm right anyway. You don't play 130 games for Lyon, then have a full pre-season, start well at Spurs then have "fitness issues" that don't allow you to play more than 30 minutes a week have a full team of nutritionists, phyisos, coaches and still not cope.

It's a joke mate. A FARCE I TELL THEE

Do you even need to ask. Woefully. Give or take 10 minutes at the end, it was honestly horrendous.
