If you look at the numbers Ndombele had a comparable 45 mins to Gio who himself could’ve lost us the game twice at the end.
There was no need to take Ndombele off yesterday especially if Jose was going to push the Fbs higher and a move Dier into the DM position.
That meant the team was wining the ball back higher and starting attacks closer to Burnley’s goal.
Yeah I'm gonna go watch the first half now I think, what I had read was taking Ndombele off was harsh and the issue was with the awful shape we were playing rather than a lack of midfield protection like jose seemed to be implying post Match

If i had to chose the worst player in that 1st half yesterday it would be Dele.

If you look at the numbers Ndombele had a comparable 45 mins to Gio who himself could’ve lost us the game twice at the end.
There was no need to take Ndombele off yesterday especially if Jose was going to push the Fbs higher and a move Dier into the DM position.
That meant the team was wining the ball back higher and starting attacks closer to Burnley’s goal.

Yeah I'm gonna go watch the first half now I think, what I had read was taking Ndombele off was harsh and the issue was with the awful shape we were playing rather than a lack of midfield protection like jose seemed to be implying post Match

Same way you can remind me how you know is isnt trying.
How Jose has done the same with other players at other clubs, publically criticised him yesterday and isnt playing around his strengths. Just for a start.
