In the context of football management it is. Which is why it always ends up going badly for him and he’s sacked. It’s happened in his last three jobs. This is just the beginning.

They will only believe you next season. Dont waste your time.

It's mind blowing how much incontrovertible evidence people will ignore when it doesn't match their agenda

Loads of United fans were like that as well.

Mad isn't it. Pure denial. Some of us knew this was coming. The only surprise is how much Mourinho has fast-tracked his meltdown at Spurs.

Yeah it’s come surprisingly fast.

This is third season José. It’s really not going to end well.

Spurs have brought a dud, and supporters need to see that. It happens.

Strange that Jose called out Luke Shaw at utd and slaughtered the player but now Jose has gone and Luke Shaw looks a good player again. Odd that dont you think?

Strange that in another article Don told us there is no hope of catching utd and he is probably right. Funny that under jose that was a nailed on 3 points but a rookie manager comes in to replace him now they are uncatchable, how odd.

Don also tells me that Jose sees N'Dombele in training and he is not amking an effort etc. So there is one simple question

WHY THE FACK DID HE PICK HIM TO PLAY YESTERDAY THEN?

IMO if I had a player who was not putting it in during training there would be no chance whatsoever of him getting on the pitch.

You can make all the excuses in the world and point the finger at injuries and players but all you really need to do is watch us play to analyse the problems.

The last few games we have dropped into our half when teams have possession at the back and not attempted to close the ball down until they get 10 yards into our half.

Thats tactical, Jose had adopted this system and imposed it on the players and its negative and damned boring. Players do not do this of their own accord because if they did the manager would be crucifying them from the touchline, its a jose plan.

Now this plan involves jose making us difficult to beat (lol) but the flaw is we cant damned well defend. Now as Don rightfully pointed out Jose watches the game and watches us on the training pitch and he has still not figured out that for us this is a bad tactic cos we cant defend?

It never worked with 4 at the back so jose puts 5, it does not work with 5 either the chelsea game told us that.

When we were at our best we pressed teams hard in their own half and our defence was on the halfway line just like it was in the last 10 minutes against Norwich where we should have won it when we pressed them back.

Thats the complaint from everybody. Its not that we are losing its that we make little or no effort to win. Stop conceeding space, start to press them deep in their own half, dont let them out so easily and maybe jose wont have most of the fans baying for blood.

But the main lesson is stop trying to depend on us not to conceed because thats just not going to happen.

Have just watched a recording of this match.
Sure NDombele played the first half in which we did faack all. But that wasn't NDombele's fault IMHO.
In fact I did not see him lose the ball once.
Perhaps he isn't showing Lo Celso's vision of the field. But much of that was Alli's fault. Bergwijn was useless. Lack of targets going forward.

Second half things definitely improved with Lo Celso and Moura. Bergwijn played much better too.
Either side could have nicked a win.

Why Mourinho went after NDombele when he had to do his own job on the pitch and mop up for Shipp's useless showing is quite beyond reason.
Certainly if the manager is that unfair, NDombele will be going back to France where Deschamps still has him in the French World Champions squad.

Tell that to Jose and Sandy N'Dombele was no worse than anybody else and at least kept possession most of the time as I said on the match thread

It's ABSOLUTELY Mourinho's modus operandi to single out a player (especially if it's a player signed by his predecessor), then keep playing them and find ways to make an example out of them, such as subbing the player at half time (which, as you point out, raises the question of why he picked the player in the first place).

It's pure manipulation by Mourinho, yet another way he plays silly games to prove whatever point he's trying to make, which is usually just attempting to deflect attention away from his own failures. It's maddening that some people refuse to see this.
