Seems inevitable that it will happen.
It would be so funny if they cancelled the season and Liverpool missed out on the title.
Klopp’s teeth would be visible from space
Feel for them a bit. The fact they are winning the title at a canter is disappointing for them as they will never really get that but moment to celebrate as they have known for months already. And now when they do they likely won't have fans at the ground to celebrate anyway

why would the season be cancelled ?
all remaining games could be played behind closed doors
would be an obscenity if liverpool were cheated out of the title.

For the same reason that all football is suspended until 3rd April in Italy.
Nuno wants the game postponed instead of being played behind closed doors. Several reasons for this but one of them may be because Olympiacos players and staff are currently in hospital for coronavirus assessments after owner Evangelos Marinakis revealed he tested positive for Covid-19.
If there is a genuine possibility that any of the players could be infected then i agree with him. If that chairman has been around Olympiakos players they absolutely have to be tested.
More than Nuno wanting it postponed, Wolves have officially asked UEFA for the postponement. At the moment though UEFA are saying the game must go ahead. Wolves are due to travel on Wednesday afternoon and will do so unless UEFA change their mind
I am travelling tomorrow too, feck it, sight seeing and better weather and not working, may try to get in anyway if it is on, Wolfie will do abbreviated preds on existing post in case I am quarantined forever
Keep safe and don’t shake hands with their chairman
I get the feeling UEFA want this round out the way before making big decisions. Once the QFs are known it wouldn't surprise me to see it suspended and then some kind of tournament in the summer for those left in each comp.
Wolves official statement says ‘we believe the trip poses unnecessary risks to players, staff, supporters and the families of all that travel. We believe some things are more important than football however we respect the decision of UEFA to reject our request to postpone the game’
Getafe owner has said they will not be travelling to Milan

In amongst the panic, confusion and drama of the virus situation, one man shows us the way to deal with
this unprecedented scenario and takes the necessary steps to register his preds, in time and in full.
It's this kind of fortitude that the country, no the entire planet must now look to
Arsenal’s league game tonight postponed because their players and officials came into contact with the Olympiakos owner 13 days ago. Incredible if the Wolves game goes ahead on this basis as surely the same applies to the Olympiakos staff
Beginning of the end of football matches for the time being I guess
It would be quite ridiculous if Arsenal's game is postponed and ours isn't, given the situation.
Tests on all Olympiakos players and officials have revealed none have picked up the virus so the game will go ahead. Wolves players and officials will self isolate as much as possible before the game and will fly straight home after the game. Nuno will boycott pre and post game press conferences.
Forest players and officials also undertaking tests
Halfy will be self isolating pre match thread and going through the drive thru virus test centre at shower lane (I shat you not) as a precautionary measure !

wolves statement
Wolves can confirm that a formal request submitted to UEFA proposing the postponement of Thursday’s Europa League tie at Olympiacos has been rejected by the governing body.
The match will take place, behind closed doors, in line with the Greek government’s enforced temporary suspension of spectators attending sporting events, to limit the spread of coronavirus (Covid-19) in Greece.
Our position is that the trip poses unnecessary risks to our players, staff, supporters and the families of all who travel, at such critical and uncertain times.
Our concern is also for our opponents, whose players and staff have today been tested, and will now be expected to play their part in an important fixture, under the difficult and challenging circumstances of their owner suffering with the virus.
There is also disappointment that the match will be played without home and away supporters, as that is part of what makes European competition so special, as well as the fact our fans have already contended with similar obstacles on our Europa League journey already this season.
We believe that there are some things that are more important than football, and that the good health of our pack and the general public is one of them. However, we respect the decision of UEFA and the integrity of the competition, and we will travel tomorrow to Greece to play the fixture.
We hope that our request to UEFA, and our acceptance of their decision, can act as the catalyst for them to consider alternative options moving forwards, as this will not be the last fixture to be affected by coronavirus.
whoever wrote this statement " we believe that there are some things more important than football " should be immediately sacked, banned from molineux for life and replaced by the heroic hctl
Liverpool fans think corona virus is a conspiracy against them.
The Italian fa are considering three possibilities if this season has to be abandoned there;
1 Declare title vacant, assign euro places based on current table and have no relegation (their title race is much closer than ours)
2 season over, title, euro positions and relegation all based on current table
3 hold play offs for title, euro places and relegation once football can be resumed
