"Offensively, it just isn't there but then he doesn't often have a lot to aim at, as United's attacks are mostly counters with one or two players in the box when he gets it."
Some terrible analysis there.
How can you say with certainty that offensively it isn't there and then say he has nothing to aim at?
Fact is that he's put in some absolute pearlers and whilst it'll be an area for him to improve, he's clearly got it in his locker. He looks like a player who is a defender first, which is perfectly reasonable.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
As I've seen him really struggle on the ball in numerous games. Yes, he's put in a couple of good balls but that's the difference between the best right back in the league and one who shouldn't be in the discussion. The best right back in the league puts in numerous good balls.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
More terrible analysis.
I don't disagree that TAA is better offensively but you're clearly exaggerating AWB's lack of ability - I think it would be reasonable to debate defensively though.

Sorry but that's a load of crap Nick. He's a brilliant defender although he could avoid some of the last ditch tackles by reading the game better.
What people forget is he covers the RW alone a lot of the time.

i've probably watched utd 20 times this year
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Then you'd know defensively he is as good as anyone. Offensively he needs some work although he has put in some cracking crosses. Still way off the likes of TAA and Ricardo offensively though
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Can’t agree. It’s his stronger point yes, but unless Utd are sitting deep I’ve seen him out of position and defensively suspect on occasion. Not to say he isn’t good at that side. I knew this article was coming tbh, Maguire has out performed him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sorry but that's a load of crap Nick. He's a brilliant defender although he could avoid some of the last ditch tackles by reading the game better.
What people forget is he covers the RW alone a lot of the time.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm just going by the overall position. TAA is the best in the league, AWB isn't. In fact I would have several right backs in the league over him. For example:-
TAA
Perreira
Walker
Doherty
Baldock(although I'd prefer AWB in the team as he has potential to be better)
Azpilicueta
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Of course you would.
