No-one laughed I don't think but £50m for a guy with one season under his belt is always going to raise a few eyebrows.
He is what he is and he doesn't have the ability on the ball to hit the top levels.

I'm not saying that he was better than those guys overall - but in 08/09 he was the best LB on the planet for me. He was outstanding that year.

Listen mate, you got involved in a specific point I was making to Hoody. He said that Evra was never ever the best in his position. I disagree. I think that in 08/09 he probably was the best. An opinion which is supported by the fact he made the PL, FIFA and UEFA team of the year.

I said he is better defensively which he is. Who is the better player. I would TAA but I don't think there is much in it at all
