Because I don't believe people have watched him enough and as a career I don't think it's enough to make such polarised statements as are being made on here especially when we've never seen him in world football elite club competition.

Yeah you can. Lahm and Kimmich.
Klopp won't be here forever and Trent will want to play in midfield. He will get a say in that during his career.
Yeah, Wan Bissaka got badly exposed against us at Anfield.
There have been actually been plenty of this times that happened to him in the first half of the season, although his form has picked up lately.
listing a singular performance is peak desperation
Then goes on to say “He was absolute muck against us in January”
Wan-Bissaka lost six of his 10 duels and was left sliding off the pitch after being turned inside out by Firmino at one point in the second-half.
Former United right-back Gary Neville had sympathy for the ex-Crystal Palace star and described him as 'being on the waltzers', a reference to the fairground ride.
"He’s spinning everywhere. He hasn’t got a clue what’s going on in this game at the moment. But the play from Liverpool down that side is outstanding, and this is a different level for that lad to cope with."
Personally I thought he was better for Palace than he has been for United but plenty of time for him to improve.
Klopp won't be here forever and Trent will want to play in midfield. He will get a say in that during his career.
.....
I can’t see Liverpool allowing a player to dictate where he plays.
Yep, AWB had a poor game at Anfield (he looked exhausted though after a long run of games). I don't think he was too bad at OT from what I remember. He has also given a good account of himself in both matches vs City.

Lahm was 30, his full back legs had gone. He wasn't really that much of a success in a league which they dominate year in year out.
Kimmich started in midfield and was converted to RB. Germans still say they prefer him at RB.
Why would trent want to vacate one of the most important position under Klopp so he can give midfield a shot?

I think it's easier for a defender to defend well when you're playing a defensive system, conceding the ball and countering, this is why teams employ that tactic afterall.

Gerrard would have been a world class right back but he was a world class central midfielder instead.

listing a singular performance is peak desperation
Then goes on to say “He was absolute muck against us in January”
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So it's not obtuse
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s not “peak desperation” that’s for sure

Yep, AWB had a poor game at Anfield (he looked exhausted though after a long run of games). I don't think he was too bad at OT from what I remember. He has also given a good account of himself in both matches vs City.

I think it's easier for a defender to defend well when you're playing a defensive system, conceding the ball and countering, this is why teams employ that tactic afterall.

Reece James is a Rolls Royce. Power and finesse.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Most defensively suspect out of the 5 decent English RBs imo.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Again I think the role he plays has a lot to do with that, and his age of course.
He'll be Englands rb for years injuries permitting. TAA will end up in midfield.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No he won't. Klopp will keep him at RB and why would he change it.
You can't just magically become a midfielder when you have been playing 3 seasons at right back after breaking through.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah you can. Lahm and Kimmich.
Klopp won't be here forever and Trent will want to play in midfield. He will get a say in that during his career.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Lahm was 30, his full back legs had gone. He wasn't really that much of a success in a league which they dominate year in year out.
Kimmich started in midfield and was converted to RB. Germans still say they prefer him at RB.
Why would trent want to vacate one of the most important position under Klopp so he can give midfield a shot?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's not what I want per se but rather what he wants. I also think he will be as close as you can get to Gerrard skill set wise.
Gerrard would have been a world class right back but he was a world class central midfielder instead.
