Only chance is if City players gets a red card and we defend like we have never defended before.

Realistically we are going to get pummeled

Everton, olympiacos and West ham outplayed us. Ran through our MF.

Going for 4-1

If you can score first like we did, then you've got a chance. We're hardly Atletico in terms of defending, but we were able to set ourselves up to become hard to beat, and made chances on the break we should've done better with.

I think they'll start Mahrez which will make a difference, and possibly KDB or Siva too though.

If they score first and you have to chase the game it could get ugly I guess, but I wouldn't rule out an Arsenal result, you have attackers easily capable of worrying their current defence.

Tactics will be spot on, two teams will be evenly matched then Mustafi will smash a clearance into his own net.

We don't have the MF to win these type of goals. Our defence is worse than united and are prone to making huge errors in big games.

We will gift someone like sterling a Pen or someone like Sokratis or Luiz will sent off

Yeah Arteta could get everything right but you do have a fair few players capable of wrecking it.

That's the thing. We could keep it 0-0 for 70 mins but inevitably we will self destruct at some point.

The game is write off for me

Arteta is only 13 games into his gig. That basically comes down to about 6-7 games in charge if you consider the fact that he never had the benefit of a pre-season with the lads.

He's well within his rights to keep on chopping and changing his Starting XIs like he's been doing.

Anyone trying to guess his lineup for the Wednesday game is in for a surprise.

I'd actually go for a rare city loss. They have basically given up the non existent title race and its all about the cups now.

At worst we will draw and it will feel disappointing

Expect our players to be up for it and for Arteta to be able to manoeuvre around them tactically

We are masters at our own downfall. Whether its Leno's weakness at set pieces or slow and ponderous sideways movement along the back that allows teams to press and win balls in our half. We can easily gift Man City the game even when they don't turn up.

Nice to see some optimism, personally I'm feeling a draw but if not I don't see us being the team to take the 3 points based on our performance against West Ham.

I hope I'm wrong and I hope the loss to Man Utd has a detrimental effect on Man City players not a revenge/bounce back effect.

One thing to cling to is that City players don't really have anything left to play for in the league now and psychologically that is showing. Mentally they only seem to be able to produce their best in the Champions League at this time.

Mate...your defence lately is not a comparison with the current United defence

United conceding 2 goals in 10 games and scoring 24 in that same time. Both goals conceded came from keepers mistakes as well, the defence is outstanding as we speak.

Ridiculous comment. How dare you come on here spouting logic, common sense and reason!? This place is for negative impatient fans only! Seriously though, you are correct. This season is about Arteta learning which players to keep and which to lose.Any cup/qualification will be a bonus. He needs time!

Our City performance is going to be defined/decided by ONE selection. Real simple one here folks:

If Ozil starts, we lose and it's just a matter of how badly. If he doesn't then we might just be able to field an 11 with enough heart and fight in it to at least make a game of it. If we can do that, then with our front 3 we always stand a chance of pulling a swifty and snatching a win against any team. But we HAVE to have 100 percent effort, BOTH WAYS from all 10 outfielders. Which means NO OZIL!

This match really is the benchmark for Arteta's judgement IMO. If he starts Ozil then he's clueless how to manage this team. Only a fool would start him in this fixture. City games are one of his favourite disappearing occasions.

And who do you suggest he picks instead we’re have exactly been creating tons of chances this season at least give him a chance to show what he can do with his own players

You don't know until you try other options and even if other options only had a minimal impact that would be no less (and likely more) of an impact than Ozil has been having of late.

Even with the assist against West Ham you simply cannot in anyway shape or form justify his selection. Also people spouting statistics about distances covered are talking out of their 'arrises, you just need to watch him to know that his closing down is laboured, ineffective and still half-hearted.

We could try Pepe or Lacazette there behind Aubameyang, we could try Willock there or we could push Ceballos further forward which i where I think he should be anyway and use Guendouzi/Willock next to Xhaka.
