Just out of interest, what are your views on peak time travel on the London Underground, should commuters be banned from travelling to work?
You can guarantee that is never going to happen. Therefore they cannot really ban large gatherings.

Exactly. I get it everyday and they’d have to ban that before they ban an outdoor event.
To be fair though, not banning it doesn't mean it is the correct decision. They are just trying to avoid day to day disruption whereas gigs, gatherings are one offs which can easily be managed.
