Some of us did say this would happen under Levy though a long time ago it’s not a Mourinho issue here, it’s a huge problem with these owners. It’s a massive issue with a horribly average squad that’s been played into the ground by the old guard. Changes had to happen in terms of the manager but so did the team, but they have bought horrendously this season.

The buys this season may not turn out to be so bad in the long term. The problem is the transfer vacuum before them has left a weak squad that does not give them the time to bed in.

You were also part of the problem Don. Gladly seeing Pochettino go because you thought Mourinho would get us top four and a seriously good chance at the FA cup.

Social media and fan opinion does have it's influence on decisions made.

Nope, I have been against levy and Co for years. Pochettino had to go though, was horrendous under him this season. Mourinho needs proper owners who will back him and he would get this club winning trophies, just a shame we don’t have the right owners. #levyout #enicout

I never once said Mourinho would get us trophies this season or top 4. I said I wanted a winner in charge and next season is when you judge him, always maintained that. I said the season was over the moment Son got injured so stop lying mate.

In their first 17 games in charge of Spurs, Tim Sherwood had a better record than Mourinho. Just let that sink in.

Don... Pochettino had to go but Mourinho needs owners backing him? The hypocrisy.

What do you think lead to the horrendous form under Pochettino? It was the lack of refresh and development in the team. Always that extra quality and depth missing from lack of investment.

Pochettino done fantastic but he didn’t win a single trophy. Mourinho has the pedigree and wins trophies at every club he’s been at. Simple facts brother.

Pochettino was the perfect fit for Spurs and he wasn't backed and rewarded for improving the squad like he did. He was asked to perform miracles thereafter with the lack of investment and even baron transfer windows.

If Mourinho is to be a 'success' he needs serious investment. I'm not convinced Levy is willing to provide that.

If we are going to accept Levy won't invest. Then why hire Mourinho? He requires the exact opposite.

If we are going to accept Levy will invest. Then why not give it to the man who deserved it? Pochettino.

No point in arguing Mourinho versus Pochettino.
Nether of them can make much our of the players currently available.
The squad is way too thin due to Levy's intransigence in the transfer market.
Today we needed players like Kane, Son, Sissoko and NDombele.....all injured (one in the head) and without them we're a Championship squad.
Supporters have to stop showing up to games - period!

Think Tim Sherwood would have done a better job than Mourinho

One has won about 20 trophies, one has won zero trophies. I know who I prefer.

Don absolutely loves Jose

Finds it hard to accept he is not longer a competent manager because he has trophies to his name in the past

Jose needs a season with a fully fit squad to be judged. Not rocket science.

How often does a club have a full fit squad? We need major squad surgery which wont be a success under Levy and Jose is only a short term option. Time to admit you facked up Levy and start building for the long term again like you did when hiring Poch. It's not football rocket science.

To many kneejerk supporters like you mate. Spurs will be fine. Not sure why any sensible supporters would think that missing their two best strikers, Eriksen gone, their record signing playing like a pub player, the captain gifting the opposition goals every game, things would improve whoever the manager or chairman was.

The club will regroup in the summer, one or two new players in, better players fully fit, and you will see a completely different team.
