TGE, you should be Pogba's agent

Pogba makes bad decisions on the pitch...

I've seen him do stupid things almost everytime I watch him play in matches where you've dropped points. There will be a counter attack on and all he need to do is slide the forward in.....yet instead he'll do a roulette turn into a defender and lose the ball.

Midfield play at the top level is about decision making and tactical awareness. If somehow your skill transcends normal rules then you better be effective and having more of a positive impact than negative.

Bruno Fernandes for example is a proper player with outstanding attacking qualities that complement his midfield play.

I don’t mind giving Pogba some time to prove we should keep him but for me, he hasn’t done nearly enough to justify a new contract as things stand.

Yes he can be a great player, but there’s not been enough consistency for a player who cost as much as he did.

Maybe that will change alongside better players, we’ll see.

I want Pogba gone!

The boy (I say boy as he acts like a child) just isn’t what United are about, he has so much talent but his work ethic is terrible, he losses the ball and just stands there half the time making no effort to win it back also he plays the ball of to another player and you think go on then bust a gut and get in the box to receive the ball back but no it’s very rare, look at the effort Bruno puts in, if Pogba gave that sort of effort I’d be happy got him to stay, but I can’t see it.

I don't have a problem with giving him a new co tract I just think it should be done in the summer once we get a chance to see how he does in the current setup.

One good thing about this though is that the club will get the business out of the way before the summer media friendsy kicks in. Then we can kick on with other stuff rather than having Pkgba dragged into every conversation.

‘Let’s wait and see’

Coming from the poster who moans every day about how things aren’t good enough.

My main issue with this is that’s simply Pogba doesn’t deserve this supposed contract extension and pay increase.

He’s an incredibly gifted individual but he has also so far been frustratingly disappointing and if we’re to get more of the same I’d rather sell him and reinvest the money. It’s a huge gamble to offer such a new contract imo.

Jinja.

Keane was an excellent passer of the ball over short 15-20m distances. Fired in allowing the more attacking minded players time and space in which to do their thing. Think that was an underrated part of his game to be honest. It's the pass to break the lines we need to work on and then we would be much more dangerous.

If Ole persists with the 4 2 3 1 and Pogba does stay I can see it working if he has a hard working player alongside (Fred/McT) as well as the hard working Fernandes ahead. If Pogba can be taught to release the ball earlier (the passing range is there) then it could well work.

Didn't the great manager Jose Mourinho call Pogba a cancer at the club.

Listen to what Fred has said about some player's egos and attitudes behind the scenes at the club and what he knows about how you create a wining mentality within a group of players. Just because Pogba is good on his day doesn't mean that the collateral damage a player can cause in a dressing room or at the training ground on a day to day basis can do to team, is worth the aggro.

I am sure Ole is reminding Pogba that Fred is a good role model for him to follow as a player who has been determined to work hard within the team ethic to get back into contention.

Tbf I thought that was more aimed at likes of jlingz. If the reports are to be believed ole sort of confirms this.

Interestingly ole doesn't appear to have a problem with Pogba on the face of it. The only real hiccup being the ankle surgery

Strange to want rid of a player who was trying to engineer a move away from the club in summer?

Strange in what way?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Because he's arguably out best player and if he stays we would be stronger.

I don't get the Pogba hate on here.
____

Too many who like to listen to Souness on here and the media. Granted the fat agent Mino talking isnt the best, but the quality of Pogba can't be denied. More often than not he creates a lot of chances, which are never finished off by our strikers in the past.

He and Bruno would work very well in that Midfield imo. I hope he stays, the calibre of player we need to get back to the top.

Just want to add that my "defence" of Pogba doesn't mean I agree with a £400k a week new contract.

I would be happier to see how he performs till the end of the season before any negotiations take place.

Then if I'm wrong he doesn't get it

If sell him and by player/s with the proceeds, players whose hearts are in it, who actually want to play for the club, then we will be stronger

If Pogba has the desire to stay and fight for his place in the team I'd welcome that.
I trust Ole to have the final say and determine if he is still the right fit for this rebuild.

I for one can't wait to see both Paul and Bruno line up alongside each other, hopefully they will link up well and spur each other on. Bruno already developing a great relationship with Martial.

There was a chance that Bruno had against City arriving in the box to meet Brandon Williams' cross, he had plenty of time but mistimed the header, I reckon Pogba would have buried it.

Penalty shoot-outs will also be fun with both of them having unorthodox styles.
