Has Lukaku scored a goal like Ighalo did tonight?

Way too early for that. I remember he started well in his first PL season at Watford too and tailed off horribly in the second half.

Ok? He’s still a better player than furrrking ighalo

Ighalo ffs. Giroud and Michy are better than ighalo. His career was over until united decided to randomly travel back in time to 2016 and sign some chump in a D tier league.

Did you ever actually watch Lukaku, Wahl? Scores a few, sometimes has a great game and looks unplayable, but mostly he couldnt trap a bag of cement, and that weakens the team when he's the focal point of your attack. Haven't missed him.

Watford as a team always crashed second half of the season tho... It's why they kept sacking their manager

Don't think anyone is truly pronouncing him world class... Just can see his value as an option and squad member

Rom's first touch would have been a throw in. Ighalo made the first touch and goal look effortless. It was a thing of beauty from inception to execution.

Technically a far better footballer. But then so is Lee Cattermole. I’ll give the edge to Lukaku on this one given his goalscoring prowess.

You know what cool.

Idiots on ja606 can shiiit on Lukaku while world class managers like Antonio Conte can correctly rate him.

Conte rates Victor Moses as well.

Only good thing Lukaku did while he was with us was take the gifts PSG gave us to allow for that final moment. Tuchel and Neymar must have nightmares about that game.

Only 16 in the league though. Not good enough for United when you are playing as the focal point. especially when you look at who he scored against.

Told you guys Ighalo was the biznaz. Watched him play enough times for Nigeria to see his abilities.

I’ll give you one chance to recognise why your logic is flawed....

There’s no doubt Lukaku is better. Scored numerous goals so far and is top scorer for one of the best national sides in the world.

However his game has many flaws and he was not good enough while at United. Certainly not worth 75 million.

Ighalo does a lot of things better than Rom and suits us better.

Is it because it doesn't fit in with your homoerotic fantasy involving Jose and Romelu?

If Lukaku didn’t score enough goals in the league but scored 27 goals in all comps... he must have made it up somewhere, mustnt he?

Yes, he scored 11 in the cup competitions. What point are you trying to make?

posted on 13/3/20

That if he didn’t score enough league goals he must have scored more goals than expected in other competitions

Against poor or average teams. He only scored against 2 decent sides all season.

Ok then, you know what, I quit.

I don’t know why one of the best managers in the world, Antonio Conte rates Lukaku so highly and tried to sign him for Chelsea and signed him for inter where he has been a huge success, probably solely through luck because it can’t be through his ability because he has none. I don’t know why one of the best countries in the world plays lukaku and how he has somehow become Their all time record goalscorer. Must be because Belgium only play weak teams. But of course for any other striker playing in a top nation, this argument doesn’t apply, that’s only fair. I don’t know how Lukaku has consistently throughout his career scored goals at an extremely high rate. Must be through fluke and pity. Yes All of these things are flukes or tricks and really he’s a terrible league two level striker who should honestly just retire and spare the experts on ja606 for ever having to watch this disgrace to the sport of football from every playing football again.

I mean Lukaku is terrible. He just keeps having a successful career due to a mixture of luck and pity I suppose, because as a player he has no talent and ability because that is what the experts of ja606 think. The fact he is the third top scorer in serie a this season, well that’s just luck and a fluke. He’s a terrible league 2 level striker and was maybe the worst player to ever play for Manchester United. Maybe. That’s an interesting debate to have another day though. Lukaku is in the discussion though.

Terrible player.

Hardly demonstrable, but the two of them for a whole season (plus not letting Smalling go) would just about been enough to have guaranteed top four - possibly even 3rd.

not enough on it's on, of course. There are several other serious negative issues, but losing them without replacing them turned them into a mid-table team over night.
