Question is whether measures can be taken to enable football to restart in April. Most predictions suggest that the virus will be more widespread in a few weeks than it is now. However, if clubs take a collective decision to totally isolate all players and staff from the outside world, this break would give them time to get the all-clear by April.
Much as it would be comedy gold to see Liverpool's well-earned title snatched cruelly from their grasp, I'm not sure I can survive the lockdown without football. And missing seeing our own season's denouement would suck.
Will be surprised if the PL starts by then.
