Oh dear Cal, I know there's loads of us in the same boat regarding our relatives and I'm an optimistic soul, so keeping my morale up. What did you do to hurt your back?
Kitty’s diary day 235.
Mr kitty finally realised that without food only one of us could survive. After a brief struggle (both of us being so weak after the collapse of the uk), I got a lucky hit with the rolling pin I was carrying, fantasising about baking invincible pancakes.
Now, going through my cook book wondering if he’d taste better as a roast or slow cooked with wine? Without wine ofcourse I’ll have to improvise, so screenwash and oak leaves will have to do.
Bum really sore, as I’ve been using leaves to wipe, at least Wayne and Waynetta in their fortress made entirely of Andrex and pasta are fine. If only I’d panic bought like them too. Oh how we laughed at them at the time.

Be quite neat if you keep this up.
Hopefully not in an anne frank sort of way for the surviving mutant people of the future to look back on..
I plan to keep it going - therapeutic if nothing else, and get some laughs too

This is my 'hydeing' place so a select few know about it. - but open to all
Cleaning up is dangerous, that's why I avoid it if possible Cal.

You're a New Age Man Cal - i like it
Just done 3 loads of washing - who knew we had so many black and dark coloured clothes? When the apocalypse comes and there is no washing powder or electricity, we will have plenty of clothes to wear without showing the muck.

My sympathies Cal. It's a scenario I know is coming for us but trying not to think about it.

Using the end of the world to go ally catch up and watch all the TV and films that people say I should watch. Makes the end of humanity more enjoyable.
Not being able to visit the elderly in a care home must be very difficult, thoughts are with you. You'll soon be back visiting
