It'll happen eventually for doctors and other emergency services. Possibly the army if we have some kind of martial law.

Had a chat with the boss last week about who was essential or not. Sadly it turns out I am. Off until next Wednesday with annual leave then I expect I'll be working from home.

Mind the English magician who was playing in 'free Derry'.
All going well until he asked for volunteers from the audience. Stony silence

Re the earlier discussions on business insurance, this was on the Beeb earlier ...

Most businesses do not have insurance cover to compensate them for coronavirus losses, a trade body and other experts have said. Small businesses, in particular, are unlikely to have such a policy.
Business interruption cover is generally sold to compensate for damage to premises, following instances such as fire and flood. The Association of British Insurers said standard policies did not include forced closure by the authorities. So, for most businesses, they would not have been entitled to compensation, even if the government had ordered them to close. A spokeswoman for the association said: "Irrespective of whether or not the government order closure of a business, the vast majority of firms won't have purchased cover that will enable them to claim on their insurance to compensate for their business being closed by the coronavirus."

That's shocking BTW, if your insurance doesn't cover THIS situation? Utter cants. Combination of Govt and Insurers need to come up with a plan ... fast.
