Major has been. Pace is gone.

He would be a handicap, if you know what I mean !

I'd take a punt if the wages were normal and we had exhausted all the better options. Could be a good stop gap with a point to prove, could be a flop... So free and normal wages would be the only sensible way.

His attitude has been terrible last few years. Gone from scoring winners in El Clasico to the Welsh Winston Boagarde.

It’d be up there with signing Sanchez.

Great fit for United.

Best days behind him, living on past glories, a bit of a laughing stock.

A bit of a laughing stock?
Earning around £350k a week after tax and destroying Liverpool and their super Van Dyke with a scissor kick goal and embarrassing their keeper in a Champions League final, no less is a laughing stock to you?
What a wally!

No thanks. A player with his style will always decline at a young age. Would be Sanchez all over again I fear.

I've had more enjoyment watching Wolves during the shutdown than when the season was going? Who aren't you drawing nil nil with this week?

Bale's skill and passing range is vastly underrated. His career will last much longer than his pace. Provided he can stay fit he'd be a great acquisition

Provided no-one else gets sick we can all go back to work.

With Bale, it's always about fitness. It's why players like him and Umtitti are players we should avoid (the latter is being linked to us in the press again).
