Great marketing BTW.

Oh you're stuck in the house? Have it for free? Addicted to your save now? Pay to continue

Sent it to loads of the boys yesterday. Get an online game if we do go into lock down!

Spending today praying something tangible is announced about these grants for businesses.
Her work closed yesterday (restaurant), I will be paid something tomorrow then no payments until I don't know when.

Scary times. She thinks we're still going on holiday in late April...

My wife only came to the realisation that we're not going to Spain late April, this week.

My rents I'd due on the 22nd. It's something I've never not paid but I'm not sure if I can justify it when there will be messages to buy

I had to give up football manager years ago.

I turned into a right wee virgin.

I had more holes in the door than Oscar Pistorious bathroom.

Holidays?

I think many will be in for a very long and unwanted holiday soon.

Had one holiday to Italy cancelled by the airline so a significant repayment should be forthcoming. A number of concerts, plays etc with refunds coming. Our main holiday is planned late July for Sardinia. Who knows what will happen. I’ve a hope we can still go.

I am lucky. I just got back from my holiday before all hell broke loose. Was planning on a USA trip in August, but hadn`t booked yet. I am keeping an eye on the prices as it might be worth the risk to book for then, if the price drops enough. Under the current circumstances, I doubt my insurance would cover me booking something now, that had to be cancelled later

I think we're all hoping it'll get back to some sort of normality by June/July so hopefully that's the case.

First choice have put up that anyone flying until 1st July can amend their holiday for free. I fly on the 27th June. I'm sure it will be fine then but when I went to look at amendment options their website has "technical difficulties". That's a few days now.

I suspect their servers are struggling to cope with people logging on to their holidays booked over the next 8 weeks

I start a new job soon as well and handed my notice in days before the pandemic got really bad.. I got a reassuring message from the new employers yesterday through the agency to say they are still looking forward to me starting and their investment in improving their technology is for the long term and not just a few weeks

frightening times, we are lucky as the wife has been told to work from home from today until this is all but over with so the weans coming off school wont be a problem going forward.

Money is going to be a problem for almost everyone, time for the govt to step in and protect peoples homes and utilities during this.

Don't care if you have a Castle or a bedsit, mortgages, private rents, council housing all should be put on hold to allow people to redirect their money into food, communications, hygiene and pharmaceutical products.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Ok. I’m with you 90% on this but it has to be means tested and a simple run through of bank account, savings and dare I say immediate liquid assets should be taken into account on an affordability basis.

Those who can pay should continue to pay and release more for those in greater difficulty.
