Lanzarote update?
It’s an island in the Atlantic that is under Spanish jurisdiction and in lockdown for another 3 weeks. It is warm, sunny, ☀️ has plenty of beer and food (and bog roll 😂). No panic buying, streets empty with no numpties. All bars and restaurants are closed but supermarkets are open and fully stocked. All in all, life’s good here 👍
The judge was pretty clear when sending the jury out to deliberate
Define between inappropriate and criminality
They have judged accordingly
Clearly a letchy old so and so but that’s not a crime, thank fek, or quite a few of us would be banged up

Salmond now has a big decision to make
Does he go for the accusers and/or those who pushed it?
Does he leave well alone ?
A potential hornets nest of issues and accusations can be made he either side
Does he want revenge enough to risk his reputation and have his inappropriate behaviour all over the news
Next time without reporting restriction
A big call for him

He spoke after his trial and it seems he is keeping his powdet dry for now but could go for his accusers at some point in the future.

They may well have sold the story to the papers by then
His behaviour is a matter of record inappropriate if not criminal it’s a tabloid wet dream
If folk have lied he should go for them
If they lied in court the law should take them out
If it’s all or mostly true then it’s a risky strategy to go after the accusers
Salmond was setup at a time beneficial to anti-independence forces who thought Sturgeon was announcing another Indy Ref.

Not great for SNP either way but as the saying goes a good day to bury bad news

have you ever heard him be anything else.
He is an ass, and now a letchy ass but a very good confident speaker.
I think he might just fade away if his ego allows.
I think he might just fade away if his ego allows.
Given his rotund appearance it could take a long time for him to fade away
I knew it was a sham when one of the accusers stayed “I was an Indy supporter so didn’t want to make a big deal of it at the time”
Ok Pinocchio why don’t you head on home to your wee bung you got.

He is far from finished and will have his day just as his accusers have had and seemingly failed?
I say seemingly, there is always the chance of an appeal though it seems unlikely if the prosecution haven’t intimated that already?
It will fuel the debate about being unbalanced that these women retain their anonymity.

He just might and given this outcome he probably deserved his own justice
But from whom ?
Given the actions or acts he was accused of actually happened then what can he do
He is innocent of any criminality and questions should be asked of the PF who thought this worthy of trial
But the women in question were subject to inappropriate behaviour
If we name them what about the next person abused will they still come forward ?
Their could be a case for the accused also being anonymous said n cases as such though
Schizo is one of these mad bastirts that lives in the hills. He’ll be fine until the polis stumble on the 15 bodies in the freezer.
