Aubameyang is the best striker in the league imo. He is deadly and his overall play is decent to. I get what you are saying with RVN however Aubameyang is a different type of player and he is very quick. Plus Ronaldo and RVN didn't get on at all.

He’s a good player but not the best in the league imo.

He’s 31 and pace is a big part of his game.

Our big signings should all be younger players imo.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Which striker is better? I'd currently he is the best personally
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Aguero is still better imo. Kane is better. Salah while not an out and out striker is a better goalscorer imo.

Auba is quality and in hindsight we should have went for him over Lukaku but now at 31 and what he would still cost I think that ship has sailed.

I disagree. He is there or thereabouts top scorer in the league and that is playing for a team 9th or 10th. He is a top top player

I agree. He’s very good. My point is going by his age and what he would cost I think that even if we could sign him it would be another mistake.

I say make Ighalo permanent, give Martial another season to build on a promising campaign while Greenwood continues his development.

Ferran Torres

He’s the man

Started 12 games and made a similar amount of sub apps. But it’s a common theme with him at Juve, he hasn’t got end product which is why he struggles to get into a team that lacks a quality right winger. No idea why you’d want him, he’s an average player and we’ve enough of those already.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don’t watch every Juve game, granted. But he’s always really impressed me when I’ve seen him.

Incredibly hardworking, tenacious, keeps it simple and links really well.

Watched him play a CL game last March whilst I was in Seville (can’t remember who against, but it was a Spanish club), and it was like watching a prime Tevez in how he was chasing the ball down, nicking it back, then tearing up the pitch running at defenders.

He was a pain in the facking azz. It was like watching one player putting the fear into the entire opposition back line when they had the ball.

Just looked it up: it was Juve 3-0 Atletico. Ronaldo hattrick.

Bernardeschi was playing in a central role behind the two strikers.

And yet, despite that, his end product is naff and he struggles to get in a Juve (and Italy) side that hasn’t got a quality right winger. There’s a reason Juve want to shift him.

I've heard he's the Rishi Sunak of wingers.

Last I read they were fending off interest from Barca

If they really do want to shift him, I’d be interested for sure. He’d be an immediate upgrade on Lingard, and has the versatility to play a number of different roles.

So would Matt Richie, I wouldn’t sign him either. Luckily I think we’ll be setting our sights higher than more squad players for the wing.

I’m hoping we have a decent alternative to Sancho if we can’t get that deal done.

I would have guessed that you lot would have had enough of overpriced midgets who enjoy wandering around the final third playing the odd little rinky dink highlights reel pass here and there.

My bad.

How did you know I was talking about Arsenal?

Just seemed obvious.
