So there's no answer to why Kane hasn't won anything and disappears during the biggest games? I thought so.

He didn’t

What has Kane won then?

Define a big game

posted on 27/3/20

A game that actually mattered and ending up winning his team something.

So a big game is only a cup final?

Wasn’t him who got that late goal against Bayern?

I wouldn't say he's overrated because most knowledgable observers have him Top 5-10 in PL era. Which is where he belongs.

Henry, Shearer, Rooney, Suarez and Aguero were definitely better. I'd have Kane ahead of him as well, but he needs to win some major titles. Even Shearer won the PL with Blackburn.

Peopel like Miss Conception?

While I currently think Drogba is ahead. It is more insane to make laughable claims about Kane’s end product.

How can you compare Drogba’s record in finals to Kane’s when the latter has only played in one? Some people apply such stupid logic.

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink was probably better.

127 goals in 288 games for less dominating Leeds and Chelsea sides. 45 goals short of Drogba's total but with 102 fewer games played.

No. Maybe a better finisher. But just no

In terms of pure talent, Adebayor was better than Drogba.

posted on 28/3/20

Forgetting about the Prem era, Jimmy Greaves was better than all mentioned thus far.

Maybe if Kane didn't bottle it every time it actually matters, then he'd have played in more finals (and actually won something)

Not sure when Kane has bottled it? He was useless in the CL final, but was injured and should have never played.

Drogba probably wouldn't win anything with Spurs either. Kane is certainly not the reason they haven't won anything. He's part of the reason they came close in the first place.

So why hasn't he won anything then?

Because it's a team sport

posted on 28/3/20

It's a team sport but If Kane scored the big goals in important games like Drogba did, he'd have won some trophies. He didn't and so he hasn't.

He has but he hasn't had as many opportunities to do that as Drogba, so if he had he would.

It's not like Drogba has turned up in every final either. He didn't score in the 2008 CL final and then later got sent off.

posted on 28/3/20

He's won nothing. Drogba won everything and scored on every big stage imaginable. CL semi finals, CL finals, Title decides, FA Cup Semi finals, Fa Cup finals, league cup finals...

Where has Kane scored?
Nowhere.

posted on 28/3/20

Quickest player in CL history to 20 goals. Once he surpasses Shearer’s record in the prem and ends up with more than 53 intl goals - don’t worry there will be no argument. And that will still be the case injuries to Kane or not.

posted on 28/3/20

Yes, the argument would be better at the end of Kane's career. But it's too early to say Kane is better than Drogba. He still has to achieve a lot before then/
