I am absolutely loving yoga btw. Should've started it years ago and it's done wonders for my creamy hamstrings already.

Also, wait until the weather becomes sunny. Who wants to be stuck indoors in summer?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s just not workable. People will have to be forced practically at gunpoint to stay in.
And when anyone is killed because they refuse to accept it where then?
Purely on an economic and a psychological basis a lockdown for the next 3 months is unworkable. And unnecessary as it stands right now.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Psychologically it won't be easy, but solitary confinement is common (not sure) in the prison system, yet to be lock in at home with all the benefits that comes with over prison, should be that hard. Horrible and boring, yes, but it's hardly asking the impossible.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I get what you mean but also a strange analogy considering prison is in such a way, in part, to act as punishment for people who’ve done bad things and to deter others from doing bad things. Additionally, the prison population have its own unique health/social problems exacerbated or started by the nature of being in a lockdown situation.

I wouldn't use the word "enjoying", but I'm certainly dealing with it better than I thought I would this time a couple of weeks ago. I think the fact that the weather has been good is a bit of a mood booster, I've been able to get out on my balcony for work on a couple of days. Although at the same time it's frustrating because it's also perfect beer garden weather.
Plus we are now getting longer daylights, and this is one of my favourite times of year so this will help too I reckon.

You dont think being locked down is necessary? You keep going on about the economy but china, the world's largest has been locked down 2 months. They're just coming through that and for one reason only, they were locked down. Stop putting the economy before lives.

Now that may tell us we do need to take more drastic action. I hope it doesn’t because that will mean we haven’t got it under control and nor will we have to worry about an economy as such as there won’t be nigh of one left. And we will be dealing with a plague in all but name.

I might have more discipline to manage this than others, because I have been in the army for 12 years, been on 3 tours in Bosnia. But caaants infuriate me who don't. I keep seeing groups of teenagers out. Social media challenge to cough and spit people in the face. What the actual fack.
What does it matter if you stuck in the house, for a few months, allowed to go out shopping, walk the dog, go for a run. Maybe its easier because I live in an estate with green, have a back garden to the south and all possible streaming apps and money to burn on Amazon.
Anyway, rant over, just ride it out, dont be a selfish caaant. Economy will bounce back. We bounced back from WW1, WW2, 2008 Crash, we bounce back from this.

Quick one if I may.
Do you have any stress about what happens next or do you just accept what it is and deal with it?
I ask genuinely as I have some very difficult decisions to make; none of which I’m looking forward to and I’d like to have an idea as to what people genuinely think from a direct and personal experience.
Going back to the article point (I think) if lockdown were t go on for longer I do think we’d see a change n people’s behaviour. Maybe not in an overt way. I definitely think we’d see more people ‘sneaking’ out to check in on friends/family/significant other, especially those with privilege of a car.

I would hope in that length of time we can get nationally available testing to confirm whether we have it or have had it. On the basis of any results I would most certainly go and see my parents for certain.

Wide spread illness and panic aside am I the only one that is kind of enjoying this?
Tbf I'm still getting paid but yeah, not minding at all these past two weeks and reckon I have another four in me before I get twitchy.
I am absolutely loving yoga btw. Should've started it years ago and it's done wonders for my creamy hamstrings already.

If I was having to WFH I wouldnt be enjoying it but since put on furlough, although it's goimgbto cost me quite a large amount of money, there is no stress.
