Who really cares what happens in the US regarding the work/not work.
I’m interested in seeing the disregard for life it appear to be brewing in the US. Obama would have been the world leader to get us all through this.
Andy Burnham would have been the best UK leader to help us at this time. But in the US you can only serve two terms, in the U.K. the Labour Party has been a shambles for 10 years.

There is imo a maximum amount of time you can realistically isolate people for mental health reasons
It’s all a novelty now and I’m sure we can all last a decent while but there will be a breaking point if this is continued indefinitely

I agree it’s hugely difficult - but don’t underestimate how many people will suffer from being stuck inside for months. It’s very easy to say that staying in for months should be easy and it’s our duty etc and I really really hope it can be done. But you’re a smart guy. There are time limits for these kind of things and I’m certain after a few months of it the novelty will be gone and people will want out.
In Korea people can pay $140 USD for a test - once it (potentially) becomes common knowledge that if you’ve had it once you’re immune and people start getting tested and finding out they’ve had it I can see all those people demanding to be let out - once testing becomes widespread here
It's very much early doors atm as the general consensus from government and experts in the UK,it's going to be a 3-6 month haul and only a gradual return to normality in increments.
What will be normal after all of this is for anyone to guess.Will there be major social upheaval before the virus is contained,will governments send in the troops to keep the populace under control.
A given would be that billionaires will still be billionaires and they will look at any opportunity to make more money from this misery.
Also China will come out of it far stronger and the USA will be far weaker.
The World will be turned on it's head in such a small space of time,it's going to be interesting times ahead
