Pl player wage cuts coming

Players like Aurier should be donating most of their wages to the non playing staff, and the rest of them at least 10%.

Footballers with 7 or 8 figure bank balances having their wages protected just takes the absolute pissh.

I see Levy is using this crisis to get his excuses in early and to justify his summer spending (or lack thereof).

You just know he will be salivating at the prospect of selling Kane for a world record fee, the caaant.

If small clubs are going to go bust it shows how poorly they have been run.

Ever heard of Covid 19? You know what that is? So any club that goes in the red its because its poorly run? That's ridiculous. Even well run clubs and businesses could be put in the red by covid.

Non playing staff to take pay cuts, interesting.

If I was Levy I wouldn't be eating or drinking at the stadium in the future,I'm sure some of the staff will be adding 'extras' to his meal.

You mean the extra staff who don't have to work for the next couple of weeks and are still getting paid? They should be thankful.

Levy is delighted he spent hardly anything the past few seasons, he will be eyeing up some bargains this summer from suffering clubs

Surely the the biggest question is why the word club begins with a capital letter throughtout the statement. Disgraceful work by Levy. No wonder Levy is so despised by Spurs fans. What sort of example is this to young players especially during such difficult times.

Asking the tax payer to pay his staffs wages. The man is an abomination

What about the amount of jobs Levy has created with the new stadium, not to mention the great work the Foundation does? Forgot about the economic boost to area in general. Some very blinkered people on here...

Nah Brasi I think people are just fed up with neoliberalism in that these CEOs are happy to cash their cheques when the going is good and then come with a begging bowl, when their cashflow dries up for a period.
