The one star bandit strikes
Is that you Levy?
All clubs will do exactly the same. Levy will not he alone. Most of the players earn more than Levy, they should be having a wage cut.
I think the government scheme will pay the 80% not the club. Which means of course that the eighth richest club in the world is claiming poverty. Disgusted with Levy and the Board. They could've just cut players wages by 20% to pay for the 550?
This thread is making me depressed even more so!
"Elsewhere in Europe, Barcelona players are taking a 70% pay cut and will make additional contributions to ensure non-sporting staff receive full wages" - Reuters.
YUP, some players value their non-sporting staff!
Levy ..... wots his pay cut?

What's wrong with this sorry?
Huge wages to pay out, little to no income coming in.
Government payout only covers up to £2.5k a month, so not a huge help to overpayed key personnel.
Not greed, aiming to keep the business afloat with huge outgoings and no income so the club come out of it the other side still buoyant.
We need levy out of our club.
Levy has donated the use of the stadium to the cause for the NHS. The stadium has created hundreds if not thousands of jobs in the area plus the boosted the local ecomony of a deprived area. He is well within his rights to apply for Govt assistance. Stay safe people and show some respect. Levy IN!!

Not without the intervention of the PFA they can't. Player's union! Read all the information and stop trying to score low political points with your agenda against Levy. Stay safe. Levy IN.

Change your username to I respect Daniel Levy.
When I saw the headline on BBC, I hoped it wasn’t, but I just knew it would be us.
I don`t have a problem with Levy claiming 80% of wages off the government, but the players should be making up the other 20% so the non footballing staff are no worse off.
You do realise that Levy is part of the non-playing staff getting a pay cut?

Rubbish. Like wot cut?
Your owners net worth is over 4 billion and your scimping off of the government when there are people out there who actually need the help.
Shameless.
Levy is doing the right thing.
Spurs are £650M in debt, those loans are secured on a stadium, as magnificent as it is, is not worth anywhere near that; and future TV revenues, which are, as things stand, under serious threat.
With little to no revenue even huge Clubs like Spurs will go bust.
His job, his first priority, is to ensure the Club still exists when football returns.

Joe Lewis can do that if he want to.
Sell up his yacht and helicopters if need be.
Both of them are misers fromthe get go....
ENIC sell out would be the best thing that ever happens to Spurs.

Depending on the sector some Billionaires will be living out the old joke for real...
How does a Billionaire become a Millionaire overnight? They buy a Football Club.
I never said it was funny😘
Billy the onus isn’t on the players to pay the staff. It’s on our CEO and Club - see what I did there giving Club a capital C.
Just remember people of the 550 non playing staff earn the average UK wage 24k p/a (which I doubt they all are) their combined annual salary is 13.2m.
Levy really has done it with this. Brass kneck nob would sell his Granny for a pack of Denny sausages.
“Best run club in the world” according to Sandy...
Not if your not playing staff....
Spurs made the second most profit in the league only a couple of years back, yet only paid 500K in corporation tax. Although legal, I think it’s a disgrace to be playing the system like that and then coming cap in hand to reclaim wages from the govt. WE are all going to have to foot the bill in the long term for this scheme, will clubs like Spurs repay their fair share?
