And the total cost of remuneration of 540 mp's is a tad different to the millions on the state teat. Like it or not.
People saying MPs don't setvyheir wages don't know what they're on about. The intention was that they wouldn't but I can assure you the MPs are still in control of this.
Would take long to explain but the entities deciding MP wages often end up put at the mercy of said MPs.

You honestly think mp's wouldn't have manipulated these more had they a voice? If we paid our parliament more we might get better than the crap we have. The vast majority on all sides sides have to be reminded to breathe. Thuckaspigshit
