Seriously though, you have to ask what the fwck is happening at Rangers right now.
They are strapped for cash and are refusing to get some money in from a government led initiative that doesn't have to be repaid and will keep all their staff earning less that £37,500 on the books until the end of May.
They can't get finance and they sure as hell won't get any for quite some time in the economic aftermath of all this.
We've been getting told about these mystery well heeled investors about to plough in many many millions to the club and now we have one practically paraded in the media and named as about to stick in £20m.
The board say it is happening and they have received "soime" funds. King says it is on hold. The named investor has dropped out of sight.
McColl was spoken to and his words completely and deliberately misconstrued to suggest he was about to pour in money. He's not as was later clarified.
So when nobody from the outside has come forward when Rangers were doing well, would they suddenly do it now when we are about to face an economic meltdown many times worse than the worldwide crash from 2007?

McColl was spoken to and his words completely and deliberately misconstrued to suggest he was about to pour in money. He's not as was later clarified.
So when nobody from the outside has come forward when Rangers were doing well, would they suddenly do it now when we are about to face an economic meltdown many times worse than the worldwide crash from 2007?
None of this makes any sense. Just why are they not taking this government handout? You can be sure they would qualify and it would be absolutely the correct thing to do to help protect themselves

This so called journalist said he was ordered to write what he knew was lies about Whyte that is just more lies.
He planted the investment stories, the lad in Hong Kong, McColl and even Souness and has had to retract on McColl one and I would expect on the others as well eventually.
None of that is Rangers fault, why they are not taking the govt aid is anyone guess, maybe they have to publish their accounts before being eligible and are unwilling to do so.
