I absolutely do not believe Rangers would be catch celtic this season if it were played to a finish.

Therefore award Celtic the title and move on. Seemples 👍

I absolutely did not believe that Leicester would win the league when they did.

And at the time he was correct. The league still had games to play. Fast forward to today - there is little chance of the reming games being played,so now, the league is over. Zero chance of Rangers winning it so as Lenny has said recently, the league should be awarded to Celtic. 👍

I think nearly everyone would prefer it be resumed when possible and played to conclusion. Having it be awarded like a vacated wrestling belt surely feels cheap?

I'm not sure how that responds to the point of a truncated season being fair. Rangers would only have zero chance because time has been called early.

Not really in my opinion as it was only a matter of time

I'd like to enjoy the old firm games though so my preference would be to freeZe and reconvene when it's appropriate to do so
But if not it is what it is .

The long and the short of it is that if it doesn't get played to a finish then one side of the OF will not be happy.

From a legal standpoint I would maybe think Rangers may have more of a case if it goes against them.

If they voided the league then Celtics claim would be they were denied a league they had never actually won anyway.

Whereas Rangers claim would be a committee or individual granted a title to another team when Rangers had a fair sporting chance of winning it.

If it's asterix titles you're on about we still have some catching up to do.

This season has gone. There's no way it can be resurrected in anything like a fair and reasonable way. The minuses outway the pluses by a long way. Just getting players match fit to avoid unwanted injuries would be a nightmare.

I reckon most clubs would see it that way, and want to be able to start next season in as good a way as possible, rather than having this season continuing in a way which not only can have bad outcomes but would impact on next season.

FWIW I don't really care what they do with the season now. If United get promoted great, if we don't then it's pash but I'll still buy my ticket and go when the football resumes. It's not really that important in the grand scheme of things.
