It is one of those where it isn’t even debatable for top spot.

You would think wouldn’t you. It will be interesting to see if anybody tries to argue against it.

Nah, it's got to be Fergie.

No manager has won more trophies over the course of their managerial career than Fergie has. Of course he's number one.

To be honest, OP should have made an article about the second best PL manager.

PL started in 1992 so there can be no doubt who is the best PL manager.

No doubting who is Number 1.

Yep, I agree.

I’d have sir Alex at number two, Wenger at three and then guardiola at four.

Oh Wahl, you are special.

There will be more than one utter spacker who picks someone other than SAF as top.

Window licker Wahl will not be alone.

Even as a Mourinho fangirl you should be acknowledging Fergie as the top manager.

Didn’t see it, but thanks for the heads up.

I think Pep, then Klopp as the best.

They both are foreigners coming to these shores, and yet within a relatively short time won trophies. Including title and CL. Ok, Klopp is yet to win the title but come on, surely his side has done enough to be awarded it.
SAF struggled badly in his former years. In fact, he was about to be sacked when he won a trophy and the rest is history.

On that basis, Pep and then Klopp.

You can't seriously tell me you wouldn't even have Fergie in a top 2?

posted on 8/4/20

Hate to say it, but it’s Fergie all the way - probably the greatest of all time - even above the likes of Clough, Paisley, Shankley and Busby - even though it pains me to say it

In fact, I'd give it to Klopp. The most significant impact on a club by a manager in a very short time without that is Klopp. Taken an average side and elevated it, where others like Benitez failed.

What are basing ‘The Best’ on?

Longevity, Character, Trophies won, Influence, What they achieved

I like Klopp, but purely on the fact he’s won just 1 Champions League - surely means he can’t be classed as the Best!

Klopp shouldn't even be above Ranieri yet.

Only someone with very little football knowledge would not place Sir Alex as number 1.

This is a 2nd - 9th discussion.

Benitez won them the CL and made them a better side overall - deffo elevated them

What a dopey article. I'm sure 99% of honest football fans will say fergie, and then there's walh.

Hate to admit it, SAF wins at a canter.

Obviously during the prem era it old whiskey nose! The fact his record in Europe was incredibly poor shouldn’t distract from that!
