Fergie rambled on with his red nose,

.....

Right up there with Wahl and Morespurs for utter stupidity there. Well done to you.

I didn’t think their use of the word favourite invalidated the subject matter of the entire article and podcast discussion. But maybe that’s just me.

Just my opinion, so was Wenger to me, never saw anything. Fergie rambled on with his red nose, whenever they could get an interview out of him since he refused to do bbc interviews cause panorama caught him n his dodgy family out?

Except he didn’t ramble on, he was always straight to the point. If you want the chief of rambling, I’d look at the bloke sitting in your dugout.

i think it is like us calling Bob Paisley Bakonface

Pretty sure SAF said he never touched the stuff.

He was known for being a connoisseur of the Claret as far as I am aware.

Only someone with very little football knowledge would not place Sir Alex as number 1.

This is a 2nd - 9th discussion.

Guess I have very little football knowledge then

Not necessarily, especially given his record since leaving and Messi’s disappearing acts in the latter stages of the CL.

Hard to predict the CL. Most expected Pep to clean up after leaving Barca as well. Nobody expected Zidane to be the most successful manager in the competition.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Barca have won multiple CL with inferior managers.

He'd certainly have had at least one more if he stayed at Barca until now. 25 years at Barca he'd have around 5 by my estimation.

I think Pep, then Klopp as the best.

They both are foreigners coming to these shores, and yet within a relatively short time won trophies. Including title and CL. Ok, Klopp is yet to win the title but come on, surely his side has done enough to be awarded it.
SAF struggled badly in his former years. In fact, he was about to be sacked when he won a trophy and the rest is history.

On that basis, Pep and then Klopp.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

In fact, I'd give it to Klopp. The most significant impact on a club by a manager in a very short time without that is Klopp. Taken an average side and elevated it, where others like Benitez failed.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Klopp has only won one trophy. No way can he be even considered in a best manager of the Prem era.
