Trump is performing okay, as New York Governor Cuomo said, Trump has delivered for New York, with hospital ships and medical supplies, of course its cynical to be looking at the politics when anybody could die from this ,but that's something the fake news media keep bringing to the table, and Trump would be wise to ignore it and focus on delivering

I'm sorry but your post read like a Fox News bulletin rather than anything remotely factual.

Given NY is the world epicentre of the pandemic, unsure how "Trump has delivered" ?

More people have died in NY (per-capita) than in Italy - the most severely hit area in Europe.

Over 10,000 people have now died, partially due to a failure of governance, which Trump is ultimately responsible. He could have signed a series of Executive Orders ensuring an aligned, co-ordinated federal approach. Rather than letting states compete against each other for PPE, and resources.

The suggestion that "Trump has delivered for New York" is quite frankly absurd.

New York is a hot spot because of the large Chinese population over 9 different communities, and with the underground and huge skyscrapers, the stilted atmosphere ,its was a recipe for disaster
If the NY Governor says hes delivered then hes delivered ,hes a political opponent, with everything to gain from blaming Trump but he didnt

How is this any different to other major capitals around the world, who have seen far less deaths per capita than New York?

A city which now accounts for a third of the US's total CV19 related deaths.

It was the Trump administration who did nothing to prevent states competing against each other to procure PPE. The PPE in turn going to the highest bidder, not where it was needed the most. PPE manufacturers also not prevented from artificially inflating the cost of PPE.

“New York state has paid 20 cents for gloves that normally cost less than a nickel and as much as $7.50 each for masks, about 15 times the usual price. It’s paid up to $2,795 for infusion pumps, more than twice the regular rate. And $248,841 for a portable X-ray machine that typically sells for $30,000 to $80,000.”

https://www.propublica.org/article/in-desperation-new-york-state-pays-up-to-15-times-the-normal-price-for-medical-equipment

Whilst you are perfectly entitled to base your judgement on soundbites from politicians, the data, and analysis available suggests "Trump has not in any shape or form "delivered for New York"

"Prior to this dispute, Trump and team had put on some bizarre propaganda piece - it seems to me much of the reporters were rather frustrated by this"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
As they should. He's getting blasted by the media for "not doing enough" but yet they're giving other elected officials a pass for helping to spread the virus (i.e. Nancy Pelosi).

So, I applaud Trump for using their (media's) words against them. Even the President is protected by the First Amendment.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It was pure propaganda - made up of carefully edited (predominately) Fox News excerpts. It was a campaign video. Nothing more.

It was presented to the media, not to inform (as was the purpose of the briefing) the public but to point score. To get 'one over' his critics.

His presser yesterday was no better. Completely out of his depth. For anyone interested, watch this and draw your own conclusions:

Fack off. I live in the United States and I have seen most of those clips in the original context. For example, the first clip was Dr. jennifer Ashton of ABC News' Good Morning America program.

You call it propaganda because orange man bad. Facking losers.

Look at his gleeful reactions when the video is played to the press

https://www.theguardian.com/world/video/2020/apr/14/the-coronavirus-propaganda-video-trump-played-to-media-video

I referred to the video as propaganda, as that's exactly what it was!

If you are unable to identify propaganda when it's presented to you, it's not that surprising you seek to defend, it and instead resort to petty insults

Americans

I'm not a total fan of our leader and there were often comparisons made between the two. This crisis has in my opinion killed that comparison, one leader who is desperately not perfect is somewhat competent, the other is a massive man child followed around by his ridiculous cult.

You can believe the propaganda as much as you like, but to the rest of us around the globe it is so obviously a feeble attempt to distract his fans.

The sense of dis-illussion I find amongst the Americans that I know and associate with is quite palpable. The only people that (sort of) support him,are the ones with their own interests at heart, just like him, even they have a sense of embarrassment and foreboding for the future of the USA whilst he is in charge.....

and by the way, these people are living in Europe ,and have no wish to go back to US of A !

Ask any Trump supporter to explain his actions in dealing with the virus and they can't. Oh they do try and like the Fat Orange, woman abusing, business ruining, money grabbing, lying toad, many times backrupt they come across like they local nut job you cross the road to avoid. Pure dumb ass with limited vocabulary hence the use of "very, very" in every speech.
