yep, the dutch decision is so fair, and transparent, that fc Utrecht have already announced that they're challenging it on multiple counts, including, but not limited to, a place in Europa league being switched from the domestic cup to league standings, where they arguably had a greater claim on the cup placement, having one more of the cup games than their opponent, and not having a change to play the final. the fact that the switch to league positions is totally arbitrary, and contrary to the divisions own regulations, and the knvb even saying that doing such may make UEFA void that placement completely.
and on league standings, where they lose out due to having played less games, where they would have been above the team getting the place if they win the game in hand, and despite having scored more, having a greater goal difference, the same points per game ratio, and a better head-to-head that the team they lose out to, all indicating they should get the place on sporting merit.
