I weighed myself for the first time in months yesterday.
It made for grim viewing. I felt like belting out The Sash.
Back to the 5:2 for me with some HIIT on the other days.

What's this about no meat? You recommend that for weight loss?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Well yes and no. No meat does not equate to weight loss. Less calories in than you burn does that. What is does do is controls my intake to a certain degree.

Training and controlled diet of any food is perfect for weight loss on top of exercise. No meat leaves me feeling far less bloated and less tired after eating. I love chicken but this lockdown has helped in that I don't have that craving to go eat chicken like I did. I am happy with some dishes to contain no meat.

I have been given a few recipes to try and a good mate is from Gambia who has provided me with recipes from his home which are bean based and spicy as fvck. NNH couldn't even smell this stuff

Nice one. I've been packing myself with chicken in the belief that that's what Arnie does but, to be perfectly honest, I probably haven't been training anywhere near hard enough to justify it.

The missus and the wean are both vegetarians. Maybe it's time to consider joining them.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Erm

Arnie is a 100% plant based diet man

Watch that Game Changers thing on Netflix. He’s in it.

beat me to it Ginger

I agree 100% Pointy - watch Game Changers it is one of the main reasons for my change in eating.

Many years ago I did similar but did not cut meat 100% and I lost a lot of weight in 6 months - well lost all of the weight I had put on over 3 years

I blame him then for my current physical condition.

My union shall hear of this.

It's on my list. At the moment Tiger King has put me off eating big cats, so that's probably enough of a lifestyle change for the moment.

Found out on Friday that the work had let go 15 people from our Ops areas in a decision that was made in the morning and relayed to the individuals by the afternoon.

Hadn't even been considered that we'd go down that route given how busy we still are but i suppose we're not immune to what's going on.

My old man isn't entitled to a penny during this because he went self-employed last July so that's now 4 weeks without a wage, he's also losing the plot at being stuck in with my maw 24/7

Going by reports this morning, i think we can expect majority of work places to open in some capacity in the next 10-15 days.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Think self employed now qualify for the £2,500 wage, INEC and 3% pension totalling £2,800. He needs to apply mate
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That really depends, sadly. As do the government loans for businesses.

Do you not still need to have been self-employed for the full 19/20 tax year though mate?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not quite. He'll qualify for a welfare grant and universal credit though.
Give me a shout if you need any help.

Also that's not what my debt company does
