Yes I think the Championship won't actually play any more league games and us and WBA will be given promotion on our current positions but Fulham Forest Brentford and Preston will be allowed to fight it out in playoff games at neutral venues to decide the 3rd promoted side.
Ja!.
But hopefully they finish the league off, because if they don't than the league will be a false league when it restarts!..
Especially if they don't have relegation!..

ODB with his popping pin!
Prem surely prefer Leeds in it than Norwich or Bournemouth.

Yeah, I hope Leeds get up, been far to long, much more deserving than tinpot millionaires like Bournemouth. Was only being silly.
Not sure. Genuinely could go either way.
The project restart needs 14/20 votes for it to happen. Other than Liverpool, where are the other 13 yes votes coming from?

Leicester in a great position for Champions League football. If 5th qualifies for CL then Man Utd, Wolves, Sheff, Spurs and Arsenal will all fancy their chances.
I'm assuming the mid table sides will all want TV money from completing the season.
Not saying it will be easy to get the 14 but must be very close.

As SKB says, if for no other reason, like sporting integrity, it may come down to TV money. Up to £760m may have to be repaid. £38m per club.
And a yes from me.
Some clubs want the TV money for playing but don't want the results to count for relegation. Hope Sky/BT tell them to get lost.
It would be wholly unfair to promote, relegate or award prizes in these circumstances.
Project Refart is being driven solely by money men and the fans of a select few clubs.
Every business is driven by money. Without income, businesses go bust and people lose their jobs. Applies to sport as it does to any other sector of the economy. As long as the health criteria are satisfied, each sector of the economy will want to restart. Nothing wrong with being motivated by money.
Next season, games will still be played in empty stadiums. Probably some neutral stadiums too, depending on police advice. Are you suggesting we should cancel next season too?
Professional football has to adapt to the new reality.
Tv money and any other potential marketing revenues are obviously the key ingredients.

Keep It Greasy - I won't! But the question should be asked of the teams near the bottom of the PL. Sadly we are unlikely to see crowds at football, or other sports, for possibly the next 12 months. And the concerns about playing at some stadiums might mean that some games are played at neutral stadiums. Football has to decide what is acceptable sooner rather than later.
Let's be clear that the clubs talking about "integrity" are only interested in saving their skins.
Yes. Anyway you look at it, we deserve to go up
