Interesting note on Douglas Park that he’s been in trouble with the Scottish football authorities before when he was fine £1,000 for locking the ref in his dressing room after a game when he was at Hearts.
The mud that’s getting slung about just now is stupendous.

It's a total mess. I'm not sure I could tell the difference between threats, robust exchanges and clarification of consequences anymore.

A lot of this is now coming down to ‘he said, she said’.
Someone will say I felt it was a threat, and the person will say it will say it wasn’t said as a threat-as we’re seeing.
Everyone will view this as a shambles, and could only happen here. I don’t agree with that, as I think there’ll be a lot of arguments and fights all over Europe at this rate. The EPL has hit a problem with no elite sports before 1st June. Teams only willing to play if there’s no relegation and if they don’t use the neutral venue that’s being discussed.
There’s no perfect solution-only the least scheidt option for every country.
Aberdeen have said they will support the rangers resolution, more so from a point of view of putting it to bed with everything disclosed. I get that point, and I think that’s fair enough. I’ve said I think there has to be a review of what’s gone on as a minimum to make sure we learn from it.
Down to the clubs now.

I think if rangers really wanted something done about the apparent old boys club who run the SPFL poorly, they would’ve gone about it in a much more cooperative manner. They wouldn’t have overplayed their hand and underdelivered. They would have met with other clubs and discussed whatever material they had, identified the key elements that point to incompetence and have a resolution, and resulting investigation, on that narrow basis. On the presumption that there’d be findings from that narrow investigation, the pressure would’ve been too much on Doncaster and he would have resigned.
Let me ask you, in all honesty, do you think rangers have gone about this in the most effective way if the objective is to remove Doncaster?

The honest response to your question would be "NO!". Rangers FC is living in the past when they would simply snap their fingers and most teams would get in line. The last 10 years have sadly exposed Ranger FC as having been run by disreputable individuals with borderline financial and moral skills.
Rangers FC; a large dose of humility and a sincere apology to Scottish Football is more appropriate!
