Pochettino to Newcastle

Pochettino probably won`t win anything if he joined Newcastle, they have a worse track record of winning trophies than Spurs, and Pochettino himself is hardly a winner.

He was a decent manager, but is getting vastly overrated by a lot of our supporters. If he was as good as a lot reckon he is, he would have long ago been snapped up by one of the big boys, and be ready to go, when his gardening leave so to say finishes, and he is allowed to start work again.

They are headed by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman who is currently serving as Saudi Arabia’s deputy prime minister with his family’s wealth thought to be worth more than £1.3trillion.

The Public Investment Fund (PIF) of Saudi Arabia are the group who want to take an 80 per cent stake in the club from Mike Ashley. The PIF group are thought to have assets worth around £260billion.

The Crown Prince is thought to have personal assets in the region of £7billion.

Yeah it's hard to be critical of Newcastle potential new owners and ignore the fact City's owners are already here. They have trampled over human rights with little remorse. We cannot have allow city to have their owners and ban Newcastle.

Personally I wouldn't have welcomed either but if city's owners are deemed acceptable I guess you have to accept Newcastle can be owned by people with similar ethics.

Imo he should be joining a top club that's ready to win the big titles next.

If he does take charge of Newcastle though no doubt they will be above us within a couple of years.

We're pretty much finished as a top 4 club for the foreseeable future
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Er no we are not.

If they have a similar wealth to the owners of City then it's only a matter of time before they overtake us, just as City have done.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They have many times the wealth of City's owners,in fact they make city's owners look like tramps
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Then they'll be taking a top 4 spot from someone within 5 years, if the deal goes ahead. As we know, money talks in this league.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

A lot of Cities mercenary players will look to jump ship without CL football, so it will just even up.

Personally I cannot see the Prem sanctioning a Saudi takeover. If they did, they would have blood on their hands.

Boris. Firstly, a small group called Amnesty International have been quite vocal tearing a new one into Man City's owners.

Secondly, try acting like someone that has at least one friend, isn't socially inept and can actually post in a public forum without sounding a rude p**ck. Always an insult. So desperate for attention 😅

Your ignorance is amazing. You're comedy gold.

Oh and when you actually do decide to quote some facts for once to back up your point, you probably don't want to quote the Daily Mail 😅 this guy....

Poch done a great job giving us a team we could be proud of and played good football.

I’ll always love the bloke and will applaud him whenever he comes back to spurs

Exactly. Good to watch and adaptable until the squad started aging and treading water through a lack of investment

With funds and the ability to buy the best I've no doubts he could transform them.

Don, you wanted Poch sacked so why would you be bothered if he went to Newcastle, that is like the bloke who ditches his girlfriend and is then jealous when she gets together with another bloke.

What is the difference with our owners holding us back with Poch in charge or Mourinho, you were delighted we sacked Poch and replaced him with Mourinho, and yet are blaming ENIC for being our problem.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

You are joking ? I am literally the most vocal person on here blaming Levy and ENIC for years, way before most on here. I wanted Pochettino gone because he was doing a terrible job for the last year, that’s not to say I don’t also blame Levy/ENIC for the clubs failings to. Also, I still like Pochettino and respect the job he’s done prior to the poor last part of his tenure at Spurs. So, I’m going to have some sort of feelings. You make it sound like I sacked Pochettino

Don's been ENIC OUT as long as I have.
Truth is ...... if footy ever starts up again as in olden times ........................
this club will have to undergo a complete squad overhaul. I count at least 6 new first team players, maybe more. And they need to be top class, Dybala quality.
Are ENIC up to that? I doubt it

Exactly mate. I wasn’t happy with pochettino and the last year of his reign as I thought the teams form was diabolical, but I have always been putting a lot of the blame on Levy/ENIC for years.

The deal will go throw. If we can sell guns to them bringing in £14bn a year and we all buy goods from China. Very few truly give a fvck about human rights if they're honest.

As for FFP if Everton can spend £400m in three seasons then so can Newcastle.

They'll be a force if they spent it well.

Everton losses over 3 years have been £95m. UEFA FFP allow £105m over 3 years .

NUFC would be in this ball park to be FFP compliant.
