Japan has the oldest population in the world. The UK is 24th.
Higher population density too

What does Hybrid Doos have to say about that?

----------------------------------------------------------------------
India has a far denser population in all their big cities, and only a little over 2,000 have died. So it is a nonsense to say density is a major factor.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They might be just reported people that have actually died directly from COVID 19 and not another condition.
Also the Government has said people were given COVID 19 as reason for death when they hadn’t even been tested.

The economy has to slowly restart, these measures will help, for example the government will be missing its vast tax revenues on petrol and diesel, letting people travel unlimited distances will see the pumps back trousering plenty more fuel duty.

There is very little to be so chipper about with regard to football, who really cares about the potential restart of a competition that is now about as insignificant as it gets, and one that is being driven solely by broadcasters.
Lets all change the rules part way through a season and carry on as if nothing has happened, absolute nonsense.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Whilst large parts of Europe were in lockdown, we still had mass gatherings all over the country.
The PM also boasted of shaking covid19 patient's hands whilst visiting a hospital (against formal government advice).
While I agree comparing us with mainland Europe is not always helpful, the UK is an island, which could and should have implemented safeguarding measures much much sooner.
Especially when everyone could see what was developing right on our doorstep.

They're getting their excuses in early. Putting out a demonstrably and purposefully ambiguous message, gaslighting the media and public with constant "It's common sense" soundbites they can refer back to later, and then when a second spike occurs due to the mixed messaging, they can say it's not their fault people couldn't simply follow their "common sense" message.
Straight out of the Dominic Cummings playbook, to be fair. It's appalling but it's also so, so predictable.

Not much of a choice then the Government are giving you. Either go to work and a chance of dying or stay at home and starve to death.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What the fack has this got to do with the government giving you a choice, we are in the midst of a pandemic, if you use your commonsense and stay home unless you have too, we will get through this, not sure Sir *ueer Starmer could do anything different
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I get your a Tory Boy, Danny, and they can do no wrong in your eyes, but the Government have been next to useless since the Pandemic started, I have been using my commonsense throughout. Listening to this Government is absolutely the last thing anybody should be doing.

I can go fishing
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Football starting tothat “tainted” season is restarting just like I knew it would.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And? It will still be tainted whatever happens, I don`t get your point.
There is very little to be so chipper about with regard to football, who really cares about the potential restart of a competition that is now about as insignificant as it gets, and one that is being driven solely by broadcasters.
Lets all change the rules part way through a season and carry on as if nothing has happened, absolute nonsense.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You seem to care an awful lot tbf. I asked before but could you show me the rules being changed please?

So you wouldn’t care then billy if Liverpool get handed the title then yeh ? Or the current top 4 get the placings as it stands ? You don’t care about the football and feel the virus is far more important, so why are you bothered about the season now or where it’s heading ? Like I say, massive agenda

Fed up of the UK being compared to other countries.
We have a higher population density and a higher population than a lot of European countries so it’s easier to spread , also our health system has done really well compared to say Italy where they were on the floors or left at home to die etc as they couldn’t cope.
Also they suspect the UK was ground zero for the coronavirus in Europe and not Italy cos of us being a travel hub for planes, same reason America is suffering badly.

Yep.
