Who the fack does something like that

It must be on cctv, hunt them down and charge them with the harshest possible crime.

Sorry to read of your loss, see you when you feel able to return. The perpetrator should be charged with murder, or at the very least manslaughter. I'll leave a comment about football when we see you here again

Sorry to her that Jonty. I had read that article and it truly is shocking. That person needs to be caught and done for Murder. Disgusting human behaviour.

An absolute despicable act & hopefully will be immediately caught.
Full force of the law is required here, no if's or buts.
Set an example & stop this from ever happening again

From a legal perspective it would be manslaughter

However from a moral perspective it’s murder for me

It's a despicable act but you couldn't prove anything like manslaughter imo.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why?

Its murder IMO and provable.

when confirmed or suspected covid19 patients sneeze and cough in my wife's face during consultations she is advised 'to close her eyes'.

that should do it.

How can prove it ?

The man even said he had it. Surely that counts as proof

Civil or criminal? Generally depends on the burden of proof and other facts falling in place. If they catch him and he has had covid then I think civil would be touch and go and criminal I feel a jury would say guilty.

That would be manslaughter, a deliberate act that resulted in death.

Manslaughter is indeliberate.

If it's deliberate, and he knew he had covid and he knew that covid can kill, then IMO that will be murder.

You would have to prove intent to kill for murder.

It’s all about intent though mate

That is hard to prove, manslaughter would be open shut in this case though.

I work for a Social Work agency with young adults, went to visit a young man in prison recently, late Feb or Early March, I was in a side room with none of the officers witnessing what was happening, the visit finished with the young man spitting at me. This is assault but I wrote it off as just one of those things. am leaving as soon as I can and will take the opportunity not to return to work.
People like that are just filth and I will be happier not risking my life.
