It was always about voiding and they went on that hunt.
As their arguments floundered bit by bit they searched around for any signs of poor governance and latched onto that while changing the narrative to appear the good guys. The fact they found some decent questions to be answered was fair and reasonable but they’d already pressed the button on the suspensions and the independent investigation.
When that vote came and went they had to try and cover tracks to try and make out their original intention wasn’t the case.
So fwcking transparent
The EGM was about trying to prove corruption, coercion and bullying leading up to the vote in April.
In the end, it now looks like 3 clubs were trying to push their own agenda to save their stinking seasons.

We kept getting told it was about voiding. Its all a ploy to stop celtic getting the title and play the gallery. Yet if this is agreed before between the spfl premiership the vote was dead before it happened.
It might make you wonder why Aberdeen and Livingston voted yes.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Think you are taking one thing out of context. Rangers behaviour from start to finish was why we believed they wanted it voided.
Rangers categorically states they would oppose the season being called as is abd would oppose games behind closed doors.
What does that leave you considering fans aren’t expected back in grounds until later in the year?
The thing is the decent Rangers fans lapped up the sporting integrity piece and latched on to it while conveniently ignoring the absolutely mental statements.
I understand, they wanted to see the good in what the club were doing and either missed or chose to ignore the madness
I think there's been a growing realisation that games won't happen. There was still weeks of season to go when rangers said no to closed doors. The season would be ending this week now..
I wanted games played. Its not happening. Celtic get the title. But if rangers continue to go after spfl even with the title out the equation maybe rangers actually had grievances with the running of the spfl. Or it's just muddying the water after the fact to justify an embarrassment. Delete as you see appropriate

Agreed
Rangers wanted the season to be played out if at all possible. As far as I am aware that has always been their priority.
And they felt the decision to end the season (with the inevitable outcome that celtic would be awarded the title) was being rushed and that the SPFL were unduly pressuring teams into agreeing with it.
That is my understanding of the whole debacle.
Yes Rangers came out very early on and said they were against closed doors games. But the whole landscape around coronavirus has changed a lot since then. Closed doors games are about to become the new normal which not many people would have predicted two months ago.
Whilst I do understand that closed doors games in Scotland are a different proposition because of the reliance on matchday receipts - the choice for the foreseeable future seems to be closed doors games or not much else. I think the club would have been far more open to that now as an option.
From a sporting point of view - of course celtic deserve to be where they are. But if there is a chance - even a slim one- that another team can win it you can hardly blame them for pushing to get that chance and not giving up without a fight.
So
Dortmund or Shalke?
