I've been at a funeral today (c.virus carehome death) and the family of the dead fella are all monster Utd fans.
After the right noises had been made about the deceased the talk quickly turned to football and I asked the family how they wanted the season to end. They said despite Utd finishing strongly and having a great chance to lift 2 trophies they want it null and voided as a restart behind closed doors with 5 subs would be rubbish and not worth all the bother.
The more I speak to folk who follow other teams the more I realise its only Liverpool fans who want football restarted under these circumstances. Nobody else is missing it badly enough to want it finished this way.

But the standard Liverpool answer is that if you don't want the season played out in a farcical way then its because of them inevitably winning the league.
When infact its a perfectly reasonable opinion for anybody to have regardless of their feelings towards Liverpool fc.

I try to be fairly balanced to be honest and I think majority on the forum are.
Often threads get derailed by people intent on focusing on the few people who have these extreme opinions - I guess because they come here to argue and they struggle to hide that.
